平底筒仓等径球颗粒流结拱的实验研究
Experimental Study of Arching in Silo Discharge with Uni-diameter Spherical Particles

【摘要】 料仓中颗粒群在出流时结拱会使卸料中断甚至导致料仓破损和垮塌。本文采用实验方法对圆筒仓等径球颗粒群出流的联锁(机械)结拱进行了较全面分析研究。用于试验的颗粒有钢珠和玻璃球,试验平底模型仓有90,110,155mm和240mm共4种筒径,仓底由一系列出口径不同的环形板组成。试验结果表明出口径-粒径比是影响结拱的关键因素,其临界值在4.6-5.0范围内变动。此外其他因素对流动性影响不大,但出口处等径球颗粒密实度偏大会导致结晶化而发生初拱现象。
【Abstract】 Arching of particle assembly during silo discharge will stop the process and even leads to cracking or collapse of silo. We proceeded a comprehensive experimental approach on mechanical (interlocking) arching during silo discharge with uni-diameter spheres. Steel balls and beads with 6 sizes were used in turn for each test, the cylindrical modular silos made of Perspex have a set of cylinders with 4 different inner diameters. The annular bottom board designed has an round orifice with a series outlet diameters so as to determine the proper value of orifice diameter–particle size ratio when a critical arching state reached. The results shows that the orifice diameter–particle size ratio is the key factor for arching and value varies within 4.5 and 5.0, It also indicated that the other factors has less effects but a higher bulk density of the particles near the orifice may lead to initial arching due to the crystallization effect.
