Ag和RE含量对Pb-Ag-RE合金阳极电化学性能的影响

【摘要】 采用恒流极化、循坏伏安、塔菲尔线性扫描并结合失重法、阳极氧化物膜及基底形貌,计时电位法分别对低Ag、RE含量的Pb-Ag-RE合金阳极的析氧活性、腐蚀速率的影响进行了研究。结果表明:Ag的减少将直接导致阳极的析氧活性变差,析氧过电位提高,并一定程度加快了阳极的腐蚀速度。RE加入Pb-Ag阳极有利于提高阳极膜的致密性,降低硫酸对基底的腐蚀程度,还能促进高阻抗成分PbO,PbSO4向α-PbO2,β-PbO2转化,提高阳极的析氧活性,降低阳极电位,并且低RE含量的Pb-Ag-RE阳极更有利于降低阳极腐蚀与提高阳极析氧活性。
【Abstract】 The oxygen evolution and corrosion behaviors of Pb-Ag-RE anodes with different Ag, RE concentration have been investigated using galvanostatic polarization, cyclic voltammetry, Tafel, weight loss method, scanning electronic microscopy and potential decay/ self-depassivation. The results show that reducing the Ag content directly leads to deteriorated oxygen evolution reactivity, which further results in higher oxygen overpotential. Also, low Ag content reduces the corrosion resistance. The addition of RE benefits the formation of a dense anodic layer, and reduce the corrosion of metallic substrate. Additionally, the RE addition enhance oxygen evolution reactivity as it facilitates the transformation of high resistance PbO and PbSO4 to α-PbO2 and β-PbO2, which further helps to reduce anodic overpotential. In summary, Pb-Ag-RE with low RE content is adoptable to enhance corrosion resistance and oxygen evolution reactivity.
