基于预认证的LEO卫星网络快速切换算法

【摘要】 在低地球轨道(LEO)卫星网络中,由于卫星的高速运动和覆盖区域的动态变化,为了保证用户通信的连续性,必须设计快速平滑的切换机制。现有成果主要集中在链路层的资源分配和呼叫接纳控制等方面,网络层的切换特别是安全切换方面的研究还比较少。为了减少接入认证引起的切换性能下降,根据LEO卫星网络拓扑的可预知性,利用基于身份的密码学方案,提出了一种基于预认证的快速切换算法,不但实现了移动节点和接入卫星的双向认证,而且达到了较高的安全性。仿真实验结果表明,该算法具有较低的切换延迟和较为稳定的切换时吞吐量,是适合LEO卫星网络的无缝切换方案。

【Abstract】 In low earth orbit satellite network,the footprint of a satellite rapidly changes due to its high-speed movement.In order to maintain uninterrupted communication for a terminal,fast and smooth handoff mechanisms must be designed.However, most of current efforts centre on resource management and call admission control of link layer,and less work has been done in handoffs of network layer,especially secure handoffs.In this paper,a pre-authentication based fast handoff algorithm is presented to release the performance decrease resulting from access authentication,which utilizes the predictability of satellite network topology, and is on the basis of identity-based cryptography schemes.The scheme not only achieves mutual authentication between mobile node and access satellite,but also attains great security.Results of simulation experiments show that the proposed algorithm features low handoff latency and stable throughput,and suits for seamless handoff for LEO satellite networks.
