H.264/AVC的独立率失真(R-D)模型
A novel independent rate-distortion(R-D) model for H.264 video coding

【摘要】 在对典型视频序列广泛分析的基础上,本文将整数变换交流系数更接近于柯西分布(相比拉普拉斯分布)的思想与亮度分量和色度分量独立建模的思想结合起来,提出一种基于柯西分布的独立率失真模型。实验结果表明:基于柯西分布的独立率失真模型比传统的基于拉普拉斯分布的模型能更好地逼近实际的率失真曲线。
【Abstract】 Based on the observations that the distribution of the integer transform coefficients is closer to Cauchy distribution than Laplacian distribution and independent modeling the rate-distortions of luminance and chrominance components has better results than combination one,a Cauchy distribution based novel independent rate-distortion(R-D) model for H.264 is proposed in this paper Experimental results have demonstrated that the independent R-D model based on Cauchy distribution can provide better approximation to the actual R-D curve than the traditional model that is based on the Laplacian distribution.
