【Abstract】 Resource-type cities in China face on many serious developing problems, such as the simple structure of economy and industry, the shortage of reserved resources, the serious pollution of environments and so on. It is pointed out that the new industrialization type offers a better way for resource-type cities’ sustainable development. The developing strategy, which includes developing circular economy, constructing five-kind-industry system and building technical-service system, is pointed out to achieve the new industrialization type of resource-type cities.
