SEEPS基热塑性磁流变弹性体复合材料的磁流变行为研究

【摘要】 本文选用性能优良的SEEPS热塑性弹性体代替传统橡胶为基体、软磁性羰基铁粉为磁性填料,采用常用的热塑性加工技术,方便快捷地制备得到弹性好、磁流变效应高的新型各向同性和各向异性SEEPS基热塑性磁流变弹性体(MRE)复合材料,探讨了羰基铁粉用量、偶联剂改性和外加磁场强度等因素对磁流变行为的影响。研究结果表明,羰基铁粉在SEEPS基体中无规均匀分散,外加磁场时呈现明显的链状定向有序结构;羰基铁粉高填充下MRE仍具有较高的韧性;各向异性MRE比各向同性MRE具有更高的零场储能模量和磁致模量变化;偶联剂改性显著提高了MRE的加工性能和磁致模量变化。各向同性和各向异性SEEPS基热塑性MRE在低频区均呈现明显的类固性弹性行为。随外加磁场强度和羰基铁粉用量的提高,SEEPS基热塑性MRE的线性黏弹区变窄,非线性模量降低加速,磁致模量变化和阻尼效应增强。

【Abstract】 In this paper,novel isotropic and anisotropic SEEPS based thermoplastic magnetorheological elastomers(MRE) composites possessing good elasticity and high magnetorheological effect were prepared conveniently by conventional thermoplastic processing technique with the poly(styrene - b - ethylene - ethylene - propylene - b—styrene)(SEEPS) as matrix substituting traditional rubber and carbonyl iron particles as magnetic fillers,and effects of the carbonyl iron concentration,coupling agent modification and external magnetic field intensity on the magnetorheological behaviors of these MRE materials were discussed.The experimental results reveal that the carbonyl iron particles are randomly and evenly dispersed in the SEEPS matrix and exhibit obvious oriented chain - like ordered structure in the presence of magnetic field,MRE possesses high toughness even at high filling of carbonyl iron particles,the anisotropic MRE shows greater zero - field storage modulus and field induced modulus change than the isotropic MRE does,and the coupling agent modification remarkably improves the processibility and enhances the field induced modulus change.Both isotropic and anisotropic SEEPS based thermoplastic MRE exhibit obvious solid - like elastic behaviors at low frequency range.With the increase of external magnetic field intensity and carbonyl iron concentration,the linear viscoelastic region of SEEPS based thermoplastic MRE becomes narrow,nonlinear modulus drop is accelerated, and the field induced modulus change and damping effect turn stronger.
