超支化环氧化合物改善环氧树脂力学性能机理分析

【摘要】 研究了含环氧端基脂肪族超支化环氧化合物(EHBP)的E-51和AG-80两种不同环氧树脂体系的力学性能,并通过观察样品破坏后断面的微观形貌,分析对比了EHBP改善基体力学性能时的机理。结果表明,添加EHBP能有效改善两种固化浇铸体系的力学性能,且在改善韧性的同时均能使模量有所提高。所不同的是,在E-51体系中,化学相分离后的EHBP粒子主要通过自身的形变来吸收能量,引发基体本身的塑性形变来提高材料的韧性,其机理与橡胶弹性体增韧环氧树脂的"海岛结构"机理相类似;而在AG-80体系中,化学相分离后的粒子则通过粒子充分的空穴化耗散载荷能量,并阻止裂纹扩展来提高材料的韧性。

【Abstract】 The mechanical properties of E-51 curing systems and AG-80 curing systems modified by epoxy-terminated hyperbranched polymers(EHBP) were investigated in this article. And the mechanisms of this modifying were analyzed through comparing the morphological differences of broken surfaces between these two systems.The results showed that the addition of EHBP can improve the mechanical properties of two curing systems effectively.In EHBP/E-51 curing systems,after the chemical induced phase separation,the EHBP particles can improve the toughness through plastic deformation which is similar to the traditional"sea islands"mechanisms. While in the AG-80 systems,the EHBP particles can improve the toughness through the full cavitations to absorb the loading energy and slow down the inner crack propagation.
