超高相对分子质量聚乙烯纤维表面改性研究

【摘要】 采用铬酸刻蚀、吡咯化学气相沉积及两种方法并用对超高相对分子质量聚乙烯(UHMWPE)纤维表面进行了处理,利用FTIR、DSC、DMA及SEM等分析和讨论了纤维结构与性能的变化。结果表明,铬酸处理后纤维表面出现新的含氧基团,有利于改进纤维与树脂基体的结合;化学气相沉积聚吡咯后,纤维与树脂基体之间的黏结性能得到明显改善;将两种方法适当并用,处理后的纤维不仅能保持纤维原有特点,而且与环氧树脂基体有良好的复合性能,所得纤维复合材料具有较好的力学性能(剪切强度),是一种较理想的方法。
【Abstract】 Surface of UHMWPE fiber were treated by chromic acid chemical etching,pyrrole chemical vapour deposit and the complex of these two methods,respectively.The change of surface properties and structure of fibers were discussed by FTIR,DSC,DMA and SEM.Then,some conclusions can be drew.Some new oxygenous groups be found on surface of UHMWPE fiber after chromic acid chemical etching,which makes a integrading of fiber and resin matrix;the adhesion of fiber and resin matrix has a obvious increase;the fiber not only have the same properties as original fiber but also have a good adhesion with resin matrix,and its composites have a good mechanic properties (shear strength);when these two methods treated it together,that is a more ideal method.
