【Abstract】 Since 2003,Chengdu’s Longquanyi District has pioneered comprehensive urban-rural reform initiatives to address systemic challenges including urban-rural disparities,dual-structure contradictions, and rural development bottlenecks.Building upon the successful"Longhua Practice"model, the district government has implemented scientifically-grounded development strategies through continuous innovation in integrated urban-rural planning.A notable achievement involves the groundbreaking ecological relocation program in mountainous areas, demonstrating institutional creativity in regional development. The relocation process presents multidimensional adaptation challenges for displaced residents.Post-resettlement difficulties encompass livelihood transformation pressures, disruption of established social networks, and psychological adjustments to unfamiliar urban environments.Particularly in the"peasant-to-citizen"transition,migrants confront identity ambiguity and diminished self-worth perception.Cultural adaptation challenges emerge from conflicting value systems between traditional rural customs and urban lifestyles, manifesting in social interaction patterns and behavioral norms. This transitional phase necessitates extended psychological adjustment periods, resulting in temporary reductions in community attachment levels.Community identity plays a pivotal role in rural community reconstruction, serving as the cornerstone for social cohesion and sustainable development.Enhanced community identification strengthens collective belongingness, facilitates self-governance mechanisms, and increases resident participation in communal affairs. It fosters cultural preservation while promoting economic revitalization and industrial upgrading through shared value systems.Higher community attachment correlates with stronger resident dependency on communal structures. Therefore, rural community development strategies should prioritize cultivating place-based identity through targeted interventions. This approach establishes a robust foundation for long-term community viability while optimizing governance effectiveness in migrant resettlement areas. This study delves into the community identity of ecological migrants in Chadian Town,Longquanyi District,Chengdu City.Firstly,it scrutinizes domestic and international literature on community identity of ecological migrants at home and abroad,This present study posits that the impact of immigrant community identity encompasses primarily three aspects:assessment and contentment of community function, change of social circles of immigrants, and propensity of individual to engage in community activities. These dimensions incorporate community functional identity, interaction between community and immigrants(immigrant emotion)and residents’eagerness to engage in communal events.Secondly, the study conducts an analysis of the current state of immigrant community function, community emotion and community behavior identity.Thirdly, the reliability of questionnaire data was rigorously examined.By setting independent variables and dependent variables of immigrant community identity, the ordinal regression method employed to empirically investigate of the factors affecting community identity and identify the main factors. Finally, according to the empirical results, discern the root causes of the issues and to proffer targeted recommendations. The research findings show that first, the migrants have a relatively high degree of identity with community functions and community emotions, but a relatively low degree of identity with community behavior.Second,Regarding the factors that influence the sense of belonging to the community among migrants, for community function identity, factors such as education level, relocation willingness, relocation duration, nostalgia for the original residence, satisfaction with life after relocation, concern for community governance, community organization services, and living environment have a significant impact;for community emotional identity, factors such as neighborhood interaction and relocation duration have the greatest impact;for community behavior identity, factors such as migrant characteristics and community participation have the greatest impact.
