【摘要】 对大部分听障人士而言,他们的智力水平与听力健全人士相差无几。然而,由于大多数听障人士自幼失聪,因此他们语言能力的发展受到一定影响,在社会适应方面存在不足。现阶段,在各项教育快速发展的同时,关注听障人士的语言学习、发展听障教育对于提高其社会地位至关重要。在《面向全球的读写能力与听障教育》(Literacy and Deaf Education:Toward a Global Understanding)一书中,作者对世界各地听障人士的语言学习展开研究,关注他们如何在不同社会文化环境中提升语言水平并接受教育。在中国国际化进程不断加快的今天,翻译此书有助于丰富社科学术类著作的中文译本,帮助国内学者了解学习世界各地在推动听障教育发展方面取得的进步,进而促进国内听障教育事业的发展。本翻译实践报告共包括四个部分。第一部分为翻译任务描述,主要介绍文本及作者介绍、选材背景及意义。第二部分为翻译过程描述,主要介绍了译前对原文的分析、译中遇到的翻译难点,如专业词汇等,以及翻译过程中使用到的翻译辅助工具和译后对初译稿的修改和润色,该部分的重点是对科学翻译学进行理论概述,主要包括科学翻译学的定义与来源、科学翻译三大原则,即“语用价值第一、语里意义第二、语表形式第三”的原则,以及科学翻译学的基本翻译策略,重点侧重全译策略中的增减、转换以及分合策略。第三部分主要结合翻译实践分析了科学翻译三大原则和基本策略在文本中的具体运用,该部分的难点在于如何将科学翻译三大原则灵活运用到翻译实践中,如何采取合适的翻译策略处理翻译过程中遇到的问题。第四部分为翻译实践总结,笔者对此次翻译实践进行简要回顾,并对从中学到的知识和积累到的经验进行总结。翻译的过程就是不断积累、不断学习的过程。通过此次翻译实践,笔者积累了一些翻译社科类文本的经验,认识到建立扎实双语基础并灵活运用翻译辅助工具的重要性。在今后的学习中,笔者一定以严谨的态度对待每一次翻译,不断提高翻译水平。更多还原

【Abstract】 For individuals with hearing impairments,their IQ is comparable to that of the ordinary people.However,since most hearing-impaired persons have been deaf since childhood,the development of their language skills has been affected to a certain extent,and they have deficiencies in social adaptation.At this stage,while all kinds of education are developing rapidly,paying attention to the language learning of the hearing impaired and developing education for the hearing impaired play a crucial role in improving their social status.In Literacy and Deaf Education:Toward a Global Understanding,the authors study the language learning of hearing impaired and hard-of-hearing people around the world,focusing on how they improve their language proficiency and receive education in different socio-cultural environments.At a time when China’s internationalization process is accelerating,the translation of this book will help enrich the Chinese translations of academic works in social sciences and help scholars in China to understand and learn from the progress made in the development of hearing impaired education in different parts of the world,which will in turn promote the development of the cause of hearing impaired education in China.This translation report comprises four sections.The first section is the description of the translation task,which mainly introduces the introduction of the text and the author,the background and significance of the selected material.The second section is the description of the translation process,which mainly introduces the analysis of the original text before translation,the translation difficulties encountered during translation,such as specialized vocabulary,etc.,as well as the translation aids used in the translation process and the modification and embellishment of the first draft of the translation after translation.The focus of this part is to give a theoretical overview of scientific translation,which mainly includes the definition and origin of scientific translation,the three principles of scientific translation,namely“pragmatic value first,intralinguistic meaning second,and linguistic form third”principle,and the basic translation strategies of scientific translation science,focusing on the additions,subtractions,conversions,and splitting and combining strategies in the full translation strategy.The third section mainly analyzes the specific application of the three principles and basic strategies of scientific translation in the text with translation practice,and the difficulty of this section lies in how to flexibly apply the three principles of scientific translation to translation practice,and how to adopt appropriate translation strategies to deal with the problems encountered in the translation process.The fourth section is the summary of translation practice,in which the author briefly reviews the translation practice and summarizes the knowledge learned and experience accumulated from it.The process of translation is the process of continuous accumulation and continuous learning.Through this translation practice,the author has accumulated some experience in translating social science texts,and realized the importance of establishing a solid bilingual foundation and flexibly using translation aids.In the future study,the author will treat every translation with a rigorous attitude and continuously improve the translation level.更多还原
