【摘要】 农业伦理学涵盖农业科学、生态学、历史学和伦理学等诸多研究领域,是农业内涵的有机组成部分。如今科学技术下现代农业一味追求产量,忽视与自然生态系统、社会生态系统的道德关联,引发种种问题,需要农业伦理学做出应答。本文以美国杂草科学教授罗伯特·齐姆达尔(Robert L.Zimdahl)的著作《农业伦理学视野》(Agriculture’s Ethical Horizon)的第十章作为翻译实践的文本,该章重点探讨顺应农业伦理学产生的一种新型农业系统——替代农业。鉴于源文本旨在阐述农业现状相关信息,需确保其准确传递;同时暗含作者的情感态度,涉及推理过程,因而包含一定的交际行为。本次翻译实践报告充分考虑这些方面,选取关联翻译理论作为实践报告的理论依据。报告从语义和语用两大层面入手,准确把握语境因素,寻求与原文作者认知语境的共鸣,力求实现作者——译者——读者的动态平衡。在语义层面,旨在表现原作的思维过程。当作者与读者认知语境有交叉或重叠时,需保留原文风格;当读者认知语境缺失时,“认知效果的相似性”可产生一定的语境效果,形成关联性。在语用层面,为实现交际双方的最佳关联,需考虑言内和言外语境因素,把握明示、暗含信息,在确保忠实的基础上灵活处理,选用合适的翻译方式,合理建构,使句达旨,译文连贯、合乎逻辑,便于读者花费最小程度的努力明白交际意图,最终产生最佳交际效果。本报告共分为五章。第一章为翻译任务描述,介绍翻译文本、选题目的和意义、论文结构。第二章描述翻译过程,包括译前的准备、译中初稿的完成及译后的审核润色工作。第三章为理论概述,阐述关联翻译理论重要的发展脉络并将该理论与文本切合,借此体现其在此文本中极强的适用性。第四章为例证部分,探讨关联翻译理论如何指导两大层面的翻译。第五章为翻译实践总结,包括收获与结论、不足与启示,旨在引发人们对当前农业系统、以及关联翻译理论下动态语境观更深层次的思考,同时也让人们进一步认识到翻译与语言学之间的紧密联系。更多还原

【Abstract】 Agricultural Ethics,an integral part of agriculture,covers many fields,including agricultural science,ecology,history and ethics.Nowadays,modern agriculture is obsessed with“high output”under science and technology,which has led to various problems that need to be answered by agricultural ethics.The source text of the translation in this thesis comes from the tenth chapter of the book Agriculture’s Ethical Horizon written by Robert L.Zimdahl,a professor of weed science in the United States.This chapter focuses on a new type of agricultural system,Alternative agriculture,which has emerged in response to agricultural ethics.In view of the source text aiming at presenting information about the current state of agriculture,the translation text needs to convey the information accurately;at the same time,the source text implies the author’s emotional attitude,involves a reasoning process and thus contains a certain communicative act.This translation practice report takes these aspects into full consideration and selects relevance translation theory as the theoretical basis.The report starts from two levels:semantics and pragmatic,fully grasps various contexts,seeks to resonate with the cognitive context of the original author and strives to achieve the dynamic balance of author-translator-reader.At the semantic level,the translation aims to express the thought process of the original work.When the cognitive contexts of the author and the reader intersect or overlap,the original style should be preserved;in the face of the missing part of readers’cognitive contexts,“similarity of effects of cognition”can produce certain contextual effects and form relevance.At the pragmatic level,in order to achieve optimal relevance between the two sides of communication,it is necessary to take the intra-linguistic and extra-linguistic contextual factors into account,grasp the explicit and implicit information,handle it flexibly on the basis of ensuring faithfulness to the source text,choose a suitable translation method,and construct reasonably in order to make sentences achieve the point,the translation coherent and logical,so that the reader can spend minimal efforts to understand the communicative intention,which finally produces the best communicative effect.The report is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is a description of the translation task which introduces the translated text,selected topic goal,research significance and the structure of the thesis.The second chapter describes the translation process,including making preparations for the translation,completing the first draft when translating and review and polish it after translation.The third chapter is a theoretical overview,which explains the important development of relevance translation theory and fits the theory with the text,so as to reflect its strong applicability in this text.The fourth chapter exemplifies how relevance translation theory guides translation at two levels.The fifth chapter summarizes the translation practice,including achievements and conclusions,shortcomings and enlightenment,which aims to provoke deeper thinking about the current agricultural system and the dynamic context view under relevance translation theory as well as making people further aware of the close connection between translation and linguistics.更多还原
