上海博物馆文化讲座汉英交替传译实践报告

【摘要】 本文是一篇汉英交替传译工作的实践报告。选题为2019年上海博物馆举办的《融合与创新:江南文化与海派文化》和《猪年话猪—中华生肖文化讲座》两场中国文化讲座。笔者对这两场讲座进行了汉英交替传译实践。本实践报告从译前准备、案例分析、译后总结三个方面对此次模拟汉英交替传译实践进行复盘分析。熟语、考古、历史、民俗类等文化负载词的翻译以及汉语流水句结构的翻译都是此次翻译任务的特点和难点。译员通过译后反思提出应对策略,认为可以通过直译、意译翻译文化负载词,但是当涉及考古、民俗等文化负载词时可以采用加注的翻译方法来避免译文发生文化空缺现象。对于译语依赖源语而造成的译语逻辑不清的问题可通过增加逻辑关联词以及句序调整的策略处理;最后,对于译语冗余的问题可以通过省译以及合译来精简译语。通过对此次实践过程的详细分析,笔者希望可以对自身的翻译技能和水平提升有所帮助,同时也希望能为从事文化领域翻译的译员提供有益的参考。更多还原

【Abstract】 This is a report based on a Chinese to English consecutive interpretation practice.The practice includes two lectures: "Chinese Zodiac Culture Lecture-Talking about Pig" and "Integration and Innovation-Jiangnan Culture and Shanghai Culture" held by Shanghai Museum in 2019.The author reviewed and analyzed the task process from the aspects of preparation,case study and conclusion.The interpretation of culture loaded words including Chinese idioms,archaeological terms,historical and folk cultural concepts is the challenging aspect of this practice.Through post-interpretation reflection,the author proposed coping strategies and argues that translation methods such as literal translation and free translation can be used in interpreting Chinese idioms.Regarding the interpretation of archaeological terms,historical and folk cultural concepts,apart from the methods mentioned above,adding explanations is necessary for tackling cultural vacancy.The problem of logical confusion caused by the dependence of the target language on the source language can be addressed through strategies such as adding logical conjunctions and adjusting sentence order.Meanwhile,methods of omitting translation and synthesization translation are also applied to cope with translation redundancies.Through analysis in details,the author hopes this report can help to improve her interpretation skills and level and at the same time provide useful reference for interpreters engaged in Chinese cultural interpretations.更多还原
