【摘要】 本翻译实践报告的翻译素材选自《2022年非洲经济展望》(African Economic Outlook 2022)第一章,作者为非洲经济学家安格斯·普查曼(Angus Chapman)。第一章主要叙述以下几个方面:宏观经济的表现和前景、有关新冠肺炎和俄乌冲突对非洲社会经济影响的最新估计、气候变化带来的生存威胁以及关于在非洲更好地重建以及建立有韧性经济的政策建议。通过翻译《2022年非洲经济展望》,译者了解到非洲在疫情时期发展经济所遇到的机遇与挑战,透过非洲经济发展现状去看中国经济发展,更有助于中国基于本国国情而选择最优的发展策略。《2022年非洲经济展望》为商务类文本,词汇上,含有大量经济类术语和缩略词;语句上,包含许多结构复杂的长句,文体特征鲜明。在本篇翻译实践报告中,在功能对等理论的指导下,译者针对翻译实践中的难点进行了实例分析,并提出了相应的解决方法。本报告提出了翻译实践中的难点问题,如介词处理不当造成译文逻辑不清、形容词词性转换缺乏灵活性、多义词翻译错误产生歧义等词汇层面的翻译问题,以及被动语态和状语从句等句子层面的翻译问题。译者针对翻译实践中出现的词汇层面及句子方面的问题提出了解决方案,如将介词译为汉语动词、词性转换法、语境化释义法、以及将被动句译为主动句,将状语从句译为汉语句子的其他成分。通过此次翻译实践,笔者了解了后疫情时代非洲的经济发展状况,对发展中国家的发展方向有了深刻认识,提高了将理论应用于实践的能力。希望本篇实践报告有助于国内学者和经贸界人士翻译年报等商务类文本。更多还原

【Abstract】 This translation practice report is based on the translation of Chapter 1 of African Economic Outlook 2022 by Angus Chapman,an African economist.This chapter mainly describes the following aspects:the performance and prospect of macro-economy,the latest estimation of the socio-economic impact of the COVID-19 and Russia-Ukraine conflict on Africa,the existential threat caused by climate change,and policy suggestions for better rebuilding and establishing a resilient economy in Africa.The translation practice offers the translator a chance to understand the opportunities and challenges that Africa encountered in developing its economy during the epidemic period.The analysis of African economic development will help China to choose the best development strategy based on its national reality.African Economic Outlook 2022,as a business text,contains a large number of economic terms and abbreviations,as well as many long and complicated sentences with distinctive stylistic features.Under the guidance of functional equivalence theory,the translator analyzes the difficulties in translation practice and puts forward corresponding solutions.This report identifies the translation problems at lexical level,such as unclear logic caused by improper handling of prepositions,inflexibility of adjective part-of-speech conversion,ambiguity caused by translation errors of polysemous words,and the translation problems at syntactic level,such as rigid conversion of passive voice and improper translation of adverbial clauses.The translator offers some solutions to the problems at the lexical and syntactic levels,such as translating prepositions into Chinese verbs,part-of-speech conversion,contextual interpretation,and translating passive sentences into active sentences and adverbial clauses into other components of Chinese sentences.This translation practice helps the translator understand the economic development situation in Africa in the post-epidemic era,gain an insight into the development direction of developing countries,and improve the ability to apply theory to practice.The translation report is helpful for domestic scholars and people in the economic and trade fields to translate annual reports and related business and financial texts.更多还原
