【副题名】以《跨文化生态批评：全球、浪漫主义与解殖民视角》（节选）为例

【摘要】 随着人类的不断发展,生态环境的恶化也不断向人类发出叩问。生态批评生发于地球环境危机刻不容缓的紧张情况下,对于文学创作自生态关怀的角度提出崭新思考。本研究从论文集《跨文化生态批评:全球、浪漫主义与解殖民视角》当中选取第一章以及第五章作为翻译对象。本次翻译题材为学术文本,内容涉及生态批评,具有较高的理论性、系统性以及辩证性。在词汇层面,文章存在术语以及大量的名词化现象;在结构层面,文章句式和段落之间的逻辑关系严密。在情感层面,学术翻译以强烈客观的表达和微弱的主观陈述见长,因而句式间的跳跃性较小。依照纽马克文本类型理论对本次翻译对象进行分析,该学术文本属于信息型文本,根据信息型文本对于“真实性”的要求,信息文本的翻译不应当拘泥于源语言的语言形式,更应注重准确传达文本的信息内容,译文应对译入语读者更具偏向性,因而在翻译过程当中本研究选择采用纽马克的交际翻译为指导原则进行翻译。在确定理论框架后,本研究会将翻译好的文本从词汇、句法、篇章三个角度进行探析:词汇层面,笔者将会对术语的合理翻译进行分析讨论。与此同时,笔者也会将大量的名词化进行转化,以保证译文行文符合中文的表达习惯。句法层面,笔者将会对在本篇文本当中出现频率最多的长难句进行案例分析,通过分译、来确保句子的意义得以流畅传递。此外该章节还有对学术文本中常出现的被动句的分类翻译探讨。语篇层面,本研究关注的是语句之间的衔接以及连贯。针对英文原文与当下事实所不符合的情况,本篇报告也对译者如何对译文进行修改做出了探讨。更多还原

【Abstract】 With the continuous development of human beings,the deterioration of the environment is also accelerating.Ecocriticism emerged in response to the global environmental crisis and put forward new thinking on literature from the perspective of ecological concern.In this report,the translator selected the first and fifth chapters from the collection of essays,Transcultural Ecocriticism:Global,Romantic and Decolonial Perspectives.This academic literature mainly focuses on ecocriticism,which is highly theoretical,systematic,and dialectical.At the lexical level,the source text contains many terms and proper nouns.In addition,the phenomenon of nominalizations calls for the adoption of conversion of part of speech.At the structural level,the logical relationship between sentence patterns and paragraphs is tight.At the emotional level,academic translation is characterized by strong objective expression and weak subjective statements,so the jumping between sentence patterns is less.According to Newmark’s text typology,it’s an informative text.Considering the authenticity required by this type of text,the translation should not be restricted to language structure or semantic equivalence.However,it should pay more attention to convey the text’s information accurately.The translation should be oriented toward the target language readers.Therefore,the translator chooses Newmark’s communicative translation as the guiding principle for translation.After determining the theoretical framework,this study will analyze the translated text from the lexical,syntactic,and textual levels:At the lexical level,there are terms in the source language text and a great use of nominalization.The translator will analyze and discuss how to accurately convey the information contained in the text to the readers while ensuring its readability.At the syntactic level,the report will focus on long and complicated sentences,which often appear in academic texts,and discuss how to ensure the authenticity of information while ensuring its fluency by division.Meanwhile,it’s also discussed that the classification and translation of passive sentences that often appear in academic texts.At the textual level,this study focuses on cohesion and coherence among language structures.In response to the inconsistency between the source text and current facts,this report also explores how translators can modify the translation.更多还原
