【摘要】 马克思的思想和理论一直在影响中国的发展。与马克思相关的传记数不胜数,这些传记可以进一步帮助了解马克思的思想和理论。本文选取传记《马克思与现代社会的诞生》中的节选部分(第三章的第六部分)为翻译对象,以目的论为理论指导对翻译过程中的实例进行分析研究。本文在目的论三原则的指导下,对所选文本内容进行汉译实践,力求译文忠实有效地传达出原文内容。在目的原则的指导下,采用翻译技巧增译和使用习语,对涉及到西方哲学家人名、西方哲学流派的词汇,以及一些短语和句子进行翻译。在连贯原则的指导下,采用分译和转换的翻译技巧处理长难句的翻译。在忠实原则的指导下,采用顺译和省译的翻译技巧,对部分词汇、句子和段落进行翻译,使得译文更加忠实于原文。通过翻译《马克思与现代社会的诞生》(节选),以翻译实践验证了目的论指导传记类文本的可行性。目的论三原则对于传记类文本的翻译有一定的指导作用,在翻译时不仅要使译文符合汉语表达习惯,同时也要忠实呈现原文内容。更多还原

【Abstract】 Marx’s ideas and theories have been affecting the development of China.There are countless biographies associated with Marx which can further help in understanding Marx’s ideas and theories.In this report,an excerpt from the biography Karl Marx and the Birth of Modern Society(Part 6 of Chapter 3)is selected for translation,and examples from the translation process are analyzed and studied using Skopos theory as a theoretical guide.The report is guided by the three rules of Skopos theory in the practice of English-Chinese translation of the selected textual content.The author of this report strives to convey the original context faithfully and effectively.Guided by the skopos rule,the translation skills of addition and use of idioms are applied to translate words involving the names of western philosophers,western philosophical schools,as well as some phrases and sentences.Under the guidance of the coherence rule,the translation methods of division,inversion,and conversion are used to translate long and difficult sentences and is explored and studied.Under the guidance of the fidelity rule,the translation skills of syntactic linearity and omission are used to translate some words,sentences and passages,making the target text more faithful to the source text.Through the translation of Karl Marx and the Birth of Modern Society(Excerpt),this report verifies the feasibility of Skopos Theory in guiding the translation of biographical texts.In translation,the translator should turn the target text to be in line with Chinese speech habits while keeping faithful of the original text.更多还原
