【摘要】 《致命谎言》(This Lie Will Kill You)是美国悬疑小说家切尔西·皮彻(Chelsea Pitcher)的一部青少年悬疑推理小说,讲述了五个高中生之间的友情、爱情以及阴谋和谎言。《致命谎言》全书共包含35个章节,本翻译实践报告基于前十章的汉译实践进行了分析和总结,旨在为小说《致命谎言》的汉译,以及同类型青少年悬疑推理类文学小说的汉译提供实践案例以及翻译技巧应用的借鉴与参考。青少年悬疑推理小说属于青春文学的一种,主要特点是以一个悬念贯穿始终并最终解开,是一种具有神秘特性的推理文学,可以唤起人们的本能、刺激人们的好奇心,小说人物多围绕青少年展开,言语和行为大多与当代青少年相符。本报告第一章为翻译任务描述,包括翻译任务背景和翻译任务意义。第二章为翻译过程描述,围绕译前准备、翻译过程和译后处理三个环节展开,笔者结合青少年特有的心理特征、悬疑推理小说的特征以及译者的主观能动性,并充分考虑原文和译文的特征和联系,进行翻译实践。第三章为案例分析部分,笔者从三个方面对翻译实践内容进行分析:词汇层面、句法层面、篇章层面。其中词汇层面,分析了词性转换的方法与应用,以及如何在译文中更好的对动词和拟声词进行再现和强调:句法层面,分析了如何进行主动句和被动句之间的转换、肯定句和否定句之间的转换以及非人称主语句和人称主语句之间的转换;篇章层面,对如何把握青少年的人物对话的重点以及如何增添段落句的语境信息进行了分析。第四章为翻译实践总结,阐述笔者在此次翻译实践中获得的启发与反思,同时也为以后的翻译提供参考性建议。通过此次翻译实践,笔者更好地了解了悬疑小说的特征,对当代美国青少年悬疑小说有了新的认识。小说中出现的复杂句式,专业术语和地道表达,极大地锻炼了笔者的逻辑思维和翻译能力。笔者充分认识到,翻译前要对作品的背景和特征做好调查;翻译中,要灵活运用恰当的翻译策略和技巧,避免生搬硬套;最后,要对译文进行反复检查,避免出现漏译,错译的现象。更多还原

【Abstract】 This Lie Will Kill You is a young adult(YA)suspense and mysteries novel written by Chelsea Pitcher,an American YA suspense novelist.It tells the friendship,love,conspiracy and lies among five high school classmates.There are 35 chapters in the whole novel.This paper makes an analysis and summary of the E-C translation practice on the basis of the first ten chapters.And it aims to provide practical cases and reference for the application of translation skills for the E-C translation of This Lie Will Kill You,as well as the same type of YA suspense and mysteries literary novels.YA suspense and mysteries novel belongs to youth literature.One of its main features is that it runs through with a suspense that will be solved in the end.As a kind of mysterious reasoning literature,it can arouse people’s instinct and stimulate people’s curiosities.Most of the characters in this novel are young adults,most of whose words and behaviors are consistent with the contemporary teenagers.For this practice report,Chapter Ⅰ is description of translation task,including background of translation task and significance of translation task.Chapter Ⅱ is description of translation process,including pre-task work,translation process and post-task management.The author combines the psychological characteristics of young adults,the features of suspense and mysteries novels and the translator’s subjective initiative for the translation of This Lie Will Kill You(Excerpts)to carry out the translation practice,fully considering the characteristics and connections between source text and target text.Chapter Ⅲ is case analysis,the author analyzes the translation practice from three aspects,which are the lexical level,the syntactic level and the textual level.At the lexical level,the author analyzes how to shift parts of speech,emphasize words’ effect better and how to convey the functions of chapter headings.At the syntactic level,the author analyzes the conversion of passive sentences and active sentences,the conversion of affirmative sentences and negative sentences,and the conversion of impersonal subjects and personal subject.At the textual level,the author analyzes from the aspects of grasping key points of youth dialogues and amplifying contextual information of one-sentence paragraphs.ChapterⅣ is the summary of translation practice,which expounds the major experience and enlightenments in this translation practice and provides reference for the translation in the future.Through this translation practice,the author has got a better understanding of the features of the suspense novels and a new perspective of contemporary American YA suspense novels.The complex sentence patterns,technical terms and idiomatic expressions in the novel have also greatly exercised the author’s logical thinking and ability of translation.The author is fully aware of the process of translation.First of all,the background and characteristics of the source text should be researched in advance.Secondly,appropriate translation strategies and skills should be flexibly used to avoid practicing mechanically in the process of translation.Finally,the translation should be checked over and over again to avoid omission and mistranslation.更多还原
