【摘要】 本次翻译的原文摘自美国兰德公司撰写的Maintaining the Competitive Advantage in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning(《保持人工智能及机器学习领域的竞争优势》)一文。翻译项目来自中译语通科技股份有限公司。原文主要介绍了中美人工智能发展战略研究的背景、目的、意义以及采取的研究方法。并且从国家人工智能发展规划、文化和社会体制方面对中美进行比较,为美国空军提出了一系列发展建议。原文约有10000个单词,译文字数约为19000字。原文是典型的科技报告文本,具有学术性强、专业词汇多、句法长且复杂等特点。为使原文信息准确、内容通俗易懂,本翻译报告以目的论为指导,以译文在读者中的效果为最高目的,对原文主要采取了归化翻译的策略。为使原文学术性在译文中得到保留,采取逻辑验证法、平行文本比对并加用注释的方式进行翻译。此外,对于不符合中国政治立场的信息,译者分析了自身的多重身份,充分发挥了创造者和研究者的作用,在目的论忠实性原则与目的性原则中取得平衡,对这些信息进行了省译、改译,力求公正顺畅地传达原文的主体信息。实践报告分为四个部分。第一部分是对翻译原文、背景和报告结构的介绍。第二部分依照译前、译中、译后的顺序阐述译者完成的工作。第三部分提出了翻译的重点与难点,并通过案例说明译者是如何结合目的论选择翻译技巧解决这些问题的。第四部分是译者在翻译中的心得体会以及对翻译工作的反思。更多还原

【Abstract】 The original text of this translation is from the report of Maintaining the Competitive Advantage in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning written by RAND Corporation.The translator was entrusted with the translation project by Beijing Global Tone Communications Technology Co.,Ltd.The original text mainly introduces the background,purpose,significance and research methods of AI development strategy in China and the United States.It also compares China and the United States in terms of national AI development plan,culture and social system and provides a series of recommendations for the US Air Force.There are about 10000 words in the original text and 19000 characters in the Chinese translation.It is not hard to find the common features of scientific reports in the source text:professional and academic expressions,terms,long and complex sentences.The translator sees target readers as the major factor affecting the purpose of his work.To make the translation accurate and readable to the readers,domestication is adopted under the guidance of Skopos Theory.To be more specific,to ensure academic equivalence between the original text and the target text,logic testing and parallel texts are crucial in proofreading.Annotations are used when translating academic expressions.Furthermore,based on domestication,Skopos Rule and Fidelity Rule,omission and adaption are used in handling conflicts in ideology or political standings.In the report,the translation project is introduced firstly.And it follows the order of pre-translation,translation and post-translation phase to discuss the translation work.Cases and solutions of translation are explained and combined with theories in later discussion.Last but not the least,the translator reviews the work and looks for improvements in the future.更多还原
