【摘要】 在全方位、高水平对外开放积极推进的背景下,我国科学技术领域的国际交流与合作不断加强。在当前的互联网时代,许多高校和科研院所等都建设了英文网站以提升其国际化水平。我国内燃机学科唯一的国家重点实验室——内燃机燃烧学国家重点实验室也通过开设英文网站介绍其科学研究方向与成果、吸引优秀科研人才、促进相关课题的国际交流与合作。在各科研机构英文网站的建设过程中,科技翻译的重要性凸显,翻译理论指导科技翻译实践的探索也更具现实意义。本次翻译实践报告是笔者在纽马克语义翻译和交际翻译理论的指导下,对该实验室中文网页相关内容进行理解、分析和翻译的基础上,对该理论对于科技文本翻译的适用性进行的分析与探讨。在本次科技文本翻译实践中,笔者对原文中的词汇、标题、无主句、“有”字句和长句主要进行了交际翻译,使译文传递的信息更易为译文读者所理解和接受,与此同时,对原文中语义单位较为重要的名词以及表达形式与表述内容同等重要的句式安排进行了语义翻译,使译文贴近原文。本报告共包括四个部分:第一部分介绍了此翻译项目及文本特点;第二部分描述了本次翻译实践的具体进行过程;第三部分分析了语义翻译和交际翻译的特征与异同并从不同层面列举实例探讨了该理论对于科技文本翻译的指导作用;第四部分总结了本次科技翻译实践。更多还原

【Abstract】 As China deepens reforms in various fields and opens wider to the outside world,the scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation with other countries are getting strengthened.In the Internet Age,many universities and research institutes have established their English websites based on the Chinese ones to follow the internationalization trend.The State Key Laboratory of Engines,the only national key laboratory of internal combustion engines in China,also sets up an English website to showcase the research achievements made in the laboratory and promote the international exchanges and cooperation in the field.In the establishment of the English websites of research institutes,the technical translation under the guidance of translation theories is of practical significance.Under the guidance of semantic translation(ST)and communicative translation(CT),the author translates the original text and discusses the instructive role of the theories in technical translation.In this translation practice,words,titles,sentences without subjects,yǒu-constructions and long sentences are mainly translated communicatively,which makes the information readily acceptable and comprehensible,while some nouns and sentences,where the specific expressions are as important as the content,are translated semantically.There are four parts in this translation practice report.The first part introduces the project and features of the original text.The second part describes the translation procedure,which involves the preparation for,the difficulties in and the revision of the translation.In the third part,the ST and CT are briefly introduced and examples from different perspectives are given to illustrate the applicability of the theories.In the last part,the author makes a conclusion of this translation practice.更多还原
