【摘要】 女子高等教育是高等教育中特殊而重要的存在。美国是最早诞生女子教育的国家之一,其女子高等教育是世界教育史中的重要组成部分。美国的女子学院诞生较早,它们专为女性服务,为女性提供了优质的高等教育,并在艰难的发展道路上不断探索、改革和坚守。本文以美国第一所授予女性学位、办学历史悠久的私立女子学院——卫斯理安学院为例,探索美国女子学院的办学路径,为我国女子学院的办学提供一些借鉴。本文主要采用了比较研究法、文献研究法、个案研究法和因素分析法四种方法来分析和探索卫斯理安学院的办学情况。卫斯理安学院在一百八十多年的办学中,培养了一批又一批卓越的女性领导者、各个行业的女性精英,这与它出色的办学水平是直接相关的。卫斯理安学院以培养社会女性精英为办学目标,坚持为女性提供最好的博雅教育,运用适合女性特点的教育方式,培养女性的批判思维能力、领导力、沟通能力、合作能力,以及具备胜任任何工作的核心竞争力;通过设置博雅教育课程和具有女性特色的课程,帮助学生系统学习各个领域的基础知识,拓宽知识面和思维方式,卫斯理安学院专门设立了领导力课程和领导力服务中心,有助于学生将理论与实践结合起来,有效地激发和发展她们的领导才能;一流的教师队伍是她们成长路上的助力者,也是其学习的榜样,高水准的导师制为学生在不同阶段提供更有针对性的指导,低师生比的小班化女生课堂使学生有更多的机会去展现自己的才华;高效自治的管理机制让学生有机会参与到实际的管理中来;还有丰富多彩的学生活动,得天独厚的校园景观和独具特色的校园文化,共同孕育着来卫斯理安学院学习的女性。卫斯理安学院致力于培养社会各个领域的女性精英,秉承能力至上的素质培养,注重发挥女性榜样的作用。我国的女子学院在办学上存在办学水平不高、办学特色不突出、师资专业性待提高等问题,鉴于此,还需借鉴办学质量高的卫斯理安学院,办出有特色的女子高校,平衡设置文理学科,加强培养女性的领导力,提高教师队伍的专业性,充分利用校友资源,加快我国女子学院发展的步伐。更多还原

【Abstract】 Women’s higher education is a special and important existence in higher education.The United States is one of the first countries to give birth to women’s education,and its women’s higher education is an important part of the history of education in the world.Women’s colleges in the United States were born earlier.They serve women,provide high-quality higher education for women,and continue to explore,reform,and persevere on the difficult path of development.This article takes Wesleyan College,the first private women’s college in the United States that grants women’s degrees and has a long history of running schools,as an example,to explore the path of American women’s colleges and provide some reference for the running of women’s colleges in my country.This article mainly adopts four methods: comparative research method,literature research method,case research method and factor analysis method to analyze and explore the running situation of Wesleyan College.Wesleyan College has cultivated batch after batch of outstanding female leaders and female elites in various industries during its more than 180 years of running a school,which is directly related to its excellent level of running a school.Wesleyan College takes the cultivation of female elites as the school’s goal,insists on providing women with the best liberal arts education and education and teaching suitable for women,and cultivates women’s critical thinking skills,leadership,communication skills,and cooperation skills,as well as being competent for any job Wesleyan College has established leadership courses and leadership service centers by setting up liberal arts education courses and courses with female characteristics to help students systematically learn basic knowledge in various fields and broaden their knowledge and ways of thinking.It helps students to combine theory with practice to effectively stimulate and develop their leadership skills;first-class teachers are the facilitators on their growth path and a role model for their learning.The high-level tutor system provides students with better skills at different stages.Targeted guidance,a small class with a low teacher-student ratio and a small class for girls give students more opportunities to show their talents;efficient and autonomous management mechanisms give students the opportunity to participate in actual management;there are also rich and colorful Student activities,blessed campus landscape and unique campus culture together nurture women who come to Wesleyan College to study.Wesleyan College is committed to cultivating female elites in all fields of society,adhering to the cultivation of ability-oriented quality,and focusing on the role of female role models.In my country’s women’s colleges,there are problems such as the low level of school running,the lack of outstanding school characteristics,and the need to improve the professionalism of teachers.In view of this,it is necessary to learn from the high-quality Wesleyan College to run a distinctive women’s college with a balanced setting.Liberal arts and sciences,strengthen the cultivation of female leadership,improve the professionalism of the teaching team,make full use of alumni resources,and accelerate the development of women’s colleges in my country.更多还原
