【摘要】 科普文本是兼具科学性、趣味性和可读性的以科学普及为目的的文本。20世纪80年代诞生的交际翻译理论力求使译文呈现为最容易被读者接受的形式,以对读者产生意义作为翻译的标准。本文从词法和句法的层面对《十种药物——药材、药粉、药片影响下的药物历史》第二章的翻译实践展开分析,在词法层面,根据交际翻译理论可以更好地处理一词多义、词性转换等情况的翻译。在句法层面,交际翻译理论在被动句、从句、逻辑的调整、意义的显化几方面起到了翻译策略的导向作用。通过分析翻译实例,本文旨在寻找在各层面传达原著作者思想,与读者有效交流的方式。更多还原

【Abstract】 Aiming at the dissemination of knowledge,popular science features scientificity,interestingness and readability.Since 1980s,the communicative translation has focused on leaving the same impression on target readers as on the readers of original texts.This thesis analyzes the English to Chinese translation of chapter two,Ten Drugs-How Plants,Powders,and Pills Have Shaped the History of Medicine from both lexical and syntax aspects.On the lexical level,communicative translation offers practical ways to deal with polysemy,conversion of word class.On the syntax level,communicative translation facilitates the translation of passive sentence,clauses,shift of the logic,and clarification of the meaning.By analyzing the translation practice,it is reasonable to conclude solutions to producing meaningful resonance for the readers of translated popular science from the perspective of newmark’s communicative approach.更多还原
