【摘要】 工程类文本翻译在推动全球一体化以及“一带一路”的发展进程中发挥了极其重要的作用。该类文本翻译质量的提高对中国工程行业更好地与世界互联互通起到重要作用。译者以《大卫湾火电站施工合同》(节选)为此次汉译实践目标,以纽马克文本类型理论为指导,对合同中的法规与标准、工程范围、现场条件、总体布置及机务进行翻译,总任务量达12154字,可以满足翻译实践的要求。首先,译者查阅大量相关报刊、书籍,借助百度、谷歌等网络资源搜集相关平行文本,制作术语表以使得译文能够高质量地完成。随后,译者依托文本类型理论,采用直译、意译、音译、化被为主、巧用成分、长句分译、合理增减、省略与重复、转性与换形、平行与从属等技巧,将理论与翻译实践紧密结合。面对翻译过程中出现的问题,译者及时向导师以及相关专业人士请教,对实践过程中出现的术语翻译不够地道、句子结构不尽合理的状况进行修正、反思并总结经验,为日后翻译工作的进行打下良好基础。通过本次翻译实践,译者意识到作为一名合格的译员,不仅要做到准确达意,还需有严谨的态度、强烈的保密意识、以及高度的责任感。此次实践是以火电站工程翻译为核心内容。火电站工程作为中国建筑工程的重要组成部分,其英文合同的翻译可以在一定程度上丰富火电站工程的相关资讯。同时工程英语作为我国与他国经济贸易往来的桥梁与枢纽,不但可将中国先进的技术和设备进行系统的介绍,以此获得更多的工程订单,还有利于技术人员学习借鉴他国先进的科学技术,从而推动我国火电站技术的快速提升。更多还原

【Abstract】 Engineering text translation has played a pivotal role in promoting global integration and “the Belt and Road Initiatives”.The improvement of the translation quality of this type of text plays an important role in better interconnection between the Chinese engineering industry and the world.The Report on the E-C Translation of Thermal Power Station of Darvel Bay Construction Contract(Excerpted),guided by Newmark’s text typology theory,is extracted the regulations and standards,project scope,site conditions,general layout,and maintenance parts of the contract for the E-C translation to meet the requirements of this translation practice with 12,154 Chinese characters.To improve the quality of the translation,the author consulted a large number of relevant newspapers,books and used Internet resources such as Baidu and Google to collect related parallel texts and developed the glossary at the preliminary stage of the practice.Relying on the text typology theory,the author applied literal translation,free translation,transliteration,translation of imperative,component transformation,division translation,increase or decrease of words,omission and repetition,conversion and transformation,parallelism and subordination to make the theory tightly combined with the translation practice.The author consulted the tutor and relevant professionals to solve the problems in the process of translation,such as the unidiomatic terms and ungrammatical sentences.Hence,it is necessary to reflect and sum up the experience to lay a good foundation for the future translation work.It has been proved that a qualified translator should not only express the information accurately,but also have a rigorous manner,strong sense of confidentiality and responsibility.The core content of the report is the translation of thermal power plant.Thermal power plant engineering is a vital part of China’s construction engineering and the translation of its English contract can enrich the related information to a certain extent.Engineering English,as a bridge of economic and trade between China and other countries,can not only introduce China’s advanced technology and equipment systematically so as to obtain more orders,but also be beneficial in learning from other countries’ advanced science and technology to promote the development of China’s thermal power station technology.更多还原
