【摘要】 本次翻译实践的文本为2018年欧洲投资银行和欧洲央行发布的工作报告《债务积压与投资效率》。文本来源于欧洲投资银行官方网站,由三位来自欧洲央行和欧洲投资银行的经济学家共同完成。欧洲中央银行(European Central Bank,ECB)和欧洲投资银行(European Investment Bank,EIB)都是专业的金融机构,每年都会就欧洲或者世界经济问题撰写一系列论文式工作报告,本翻译文本为其系列报告之一。《债务积压与投资效率》全文分为摘要、前言、相关文献、数据、实证方法、实证结果、投资效率低下的根源、结论、参考文献和附录十个部分。笔者本次翻译除参考文献及附录以外的全部内容。该工作报告以经济学类学术论文形式呈现,语体正式,其语言特征表现为专业术语极多,句型复杂多样,语句信息密集,这些都给笔者的翻译工作增加了难度。该报告为信息型文本,在翻译此类文本时,准确、如实地再现原文的内容为本次翻译任务的首要原则,力求译文逻辑连贯,语言流畅,使目的语读者能够理解原文传达的信息。笔者以尤金·奈达(Eugene Nida)的“功能对等”理论以及莱斯(Reiss)的文本类型理论为理论指导,在词汇、句子和语篇层面上采取了不同的翻译策略,力图实现译文与原文的功能对等。本翻译实践报告分为六章,对翻译任务的背景、任务、过程做以简述,并对翻译过程中的经验和不足做以总结。本次翻译任务的主要难点体现在专业用语无对等词、单句信息量大、嵌套句较多及语篇信息分散。对于这些问题,笔者提出了针对性的解决方案:依据语境选择对等词,以综合法处理单句信息,拆分嵌套结构,以词汇衔接手段合并分散信息。更多还原

【Abstract】 The text for this translation practice is the work report Debt Overhang and Investment Efficiency which was jointly published by the European Investment Bank and the European Central Bank in 2018.The text comes from the official website of the European Investment Bank.It is a joint work of three economists from the European Central Bank and the European Investment Bank.The European Central Bank(ECB)and The European Investment Bank(EIB)are specialized financial institutions.Every year,they contribute a series of work reports on European or world economic issues,one of which is the text for this translation task.The full text of Debt Overhang and Investment Efficiency is divided into ten parts:Abstract,Introduction,Related literature,Data,Empirical Strategy,Empirical Results,Sources of Investment Inefficiency,Conclusions,Reference and Appendix.The author of this practice report translated all the contents except the references and appendixes.The work report is presented in the form of economic academic papers with formal style.Its linguistic features are characterized by rich specialized terms,complex sentence patterns and information-intensive sentences,which all add difficulties to the author’s translation work.Since this report is an information-based text,when translating this kind of text,it is the first principle to accurately and truthfully reproduce the content of the original text with efforts to make the translation logical and fluent so that the target language readers can understand the information conveyed by the original text.Under the guidance of Eugene Nida’s "Functional Equivalence"theory and Reiss’s text type theory,the author adopts different translation approaches at the levels of vocabulary,sentence and discourse to achieve functional equivalence between the translated text and the source text.This translation practice report is divided into six chapters.It briefly introduces the background,task and process of the translation practice,and summarizes the lessons from it.The major difficulties in the practice lie in specialized terms without equivalents,simple sentences overloaded with information,complex sentences with embedded structures and dispersed messages in the discourse.Accordingly,the author suggests some solutions:choosing equivalents based on the context,tackling information-intensive sentences with mixed approaches,splitting the embedded sentences,and integrating messages in complex sentences with lexical cohesion.更多还原
