用于双正交光源的摇摆滤波器设计和制作研究

【摘要】 光源是光学通讯和光学传感的核心器件,常见的宽谱光源有LED光源、SLD光源、ASE光源等,然而这些宽谱光源不具备偏振特性,需要在光源后衔接偏振器获取具有偏振特性的光,这种偏振光往往会因为光源的不稳定导致光谱的改变。本文以光纤摇摆滤波器为核心器件,设计了一种二维正交偏振光源,使得常见的宽谱光源能够输出两束光谱强度正交且偏振方向正交的光,这两束光互相补偿,兼具滤波的效果,能够由一束光的变化而测得另一束光的变化。本文对摇摆滤波器进行了深入研究,通过探究摇摆滤波器的基本原理、双折射光纤对摇摆滤波器的影响,设计了双峰和多峰的摇摆滤波器;以此为基础,设计了一种二维正交偏振光源,并搭建了摇摆滤波器的制作平台,制备了摇摆滤波器,探究了在制备过程中摇摆滤波器的几种误差来源。本文的研究内容主要包括以下几个方面:一、通过对光纤摇摆滤波器的研究,分析了摇摆滤波器各个参数对光谱的影响,并设计了摇摆滤波器的旁瓣抑制函数;通过对不同种类双折射光纤的研究,分析了高阶摇摆滤波器的光谱特性。二、以摇摆滤波器为基础,通过对双折射光纤色散的研究,设计了以边孔光纤为载体的双峰摇摆滤波器,通过对摇摆滤波器相移的研究,设计了π相移双峰摇摆滤波器;介绍了两种摇摆滤波器的拼接方式,以并联和串联的方式设计了多峰摇摆滤波器;以双峰摇摆滤波器和多峰摇摆滤波器为核心器件,设计了一种二维正交光源。三、搭建了摇摆滤波器制作平台,分别对摇摆滤波器制备过程中整体的周期长度误差、角度旋转误差进行了分析,其次对熔融区域角度变化、熔融区长度变化以及熔融区损耗对光谱的影响进行了分析;最后制作了摇摆滤波器,对摇摆滤波器的光谱进行了分析。

【Abstract】 The light source is the key component of optical communication and optical sensing.Common broadband light sources include LED light sources,SLD light sources,ASE light sources,etc.However,these broadband light sources do not have polarization characteristics.Researchers need to connect a polarizer behind the light source to obtain polarization light,this polarized light tends to change the spectrum due to the instability of the light source.In this dissertation,a two-dimensional orthogonal polarized light source is designed with a fiber rocking filter as the core device,so that a common broadband light source can output two beams with orthogonal spectra and orthogonal polarization directions.These two beams compensate each other in spectral intensity.They also have the effect of filtering.The change of one beam can be measured by the change of another beam.The rocking filter has been in depth studied in the dissertation.By exploring the basic principle of the rocking filter and the influence of birefringent fiber,a bimodal and multimodal rocking filter is designed.Based on the rocking filter,a two-dimensional orthogonal polarized light source is built,and a rocking filter manufacturing platform is built.The rocking filter is prepared,and several sources of errors in the preparation process are explored.The research contents of this dissertation mainly include the following aspects:1.Through the research on the fiber rocking filter,the influence parameters of the rocking filter are analyzed,and the sidelobe suppression function of the rocking filter is designed;through the study of different types of birefringent fibers,the spectral characteristics of highorder rocking filter is analyzed.2.Based on the rocking filter,a bimodal filter with an edge hole optical fiber as the carrier is designed through the research on the birefringent fiber dispersion.Based on the research on the phase shift of the rocking filter,a π phase-shifted bimodal filter is designed.This dissertation introduces two splicing methods of rocking filters,and designs multi-peak rocking filters by splicing and series.Using these two filters as core devices,a two-dimensional orthogonal light source is designed.3.A rocking filter fabrication platform is built.The period length error and the angular rotation error during the preparation of the rocking filter are analyzed.Next,the impact of the angle and the length change,as well as the loss of the melting region and on spectra are analyzed.Last,a rocking filter is made,and its spectrum is analyzed.
