【摘要】 电影作为20世纪以来发展迅速且影响广泛的现代媒介,已经深入到社会生活的方方面面。近年来不仅本土电影产业蓬勃发展,随着全球化进程的不断推进,外国电影也源源不断涌入中国市场。一部好的影片要想取得可观的票房,一个抓住观众眼球的片名至关重要。很多学者将西方的翻译理论应用到电影片名的翻译实践之中,以探索翻译英文电影片名的策略和方法。20世纪70年代兴起的德国功能学派打破了传统翻译研究的文本中心论,使译者更多地关注译文和译文接受者,更多地关注译文的社会反映效果和交际的功能。诺德的功能主义目的论集德国功能目的论学派之大成,其“功能加忠诚”理论和文本分析理论对翻译实践有重大的指导意义。而电影片名是文化交流的窗口,片名本身承载着促进文化传播和增加商业价值的功能。翻译英语电影片名需要充分考虑文本本身的功能和预期达成的效果,进行语言转换,从而实现翻译目的。因此,本文在诺德的功能主义目的论的指导下,研究电影片名的翻译策略和翻译方法。首先,通过了解和分析英语电影片名翻译,目的论和诺德的功能主义目的论的研究现状,找到本文的切入点,即诺德的功能主义目的论。其次,对英语电影片名的类型和功能进行简单的概括和归纳,再次,在诺德的文本分析理论和忠诚加功能理论的指导下,归纳出英语电影片名的翻译策略,即在翻译英语电影片名时,需要对源语电影片名进行文本分析和对影响翻译的译入语因素进行充分考虑,并根据文本分析结果选择适合的翻译方法。最后,通过理解和解释英语电影片名的特点,并结合翻译策略,将理论应用于英语电影片名的翻译,归纳不同的翻译方法。总而言之,在英语电影片名的翻译中,译者需要对源语文本和影响翻译的译入语因素进行深入分析,并选择最佳的翻译方法,以期实现英语电影片名的预期功能和翻译目的。更多还原

【Abstract】 As one of the modern media that has developed rapidly and widely since the 20 th century,film or movie has affected all aspects of social life.For recent years,the film industry has flourished,and foreign films have also poured into the Chinese market with the continuous advancement of globalization.For a good film to have a substantial box office,it is important to have a title that attracts the target audience.Many scholars have applied western translation theory to the translation study of film titles in order to explore strategies and methods for translating English film titles.The German functionalist school,which emerged in the 1970 s,broke the text-centered theory of the traditional translation studies,so that translators paid more attention to the translation and the recipients,and to the social effects and communicative functions of the translation.Nord’s Functionalist Skopos Theory is a great achievement of the German Functionalist Skopos Theory.Its "function plus loyalty" theory and text analysis theory have great guiding significance for translation practice.The film title is a window for cultural exchanges.The film title itself carries the functions of promoting cultural transmission and increasing commercial value.Translating English film titles needs to fully consider the function of the text itself and the expected effects,and perform language conversion to achieve the purpose of translation.This paper explores the strategy and methods of English film titles translation from the perspective of Nord’s Functionalist Skopos Theory.Firstly,the paper proposes the theoretical support,Nord’s Functionalist Skopos Theory,through the study on Skopos theory,Nord’s Functionalist Skopos Theory and English film titles translation.Secondly,this paper summarizes the types and functions of English film titles.Thirdly,under the guidance of Nord’s text analysis theory and loyalty plus functions theory,the strategy is summarized,which is that translators need to make the text analysis of source text and full consideration of factors affecting translation,and then select the appropriate translation methods based on the result of analysis when they translate English film titles.Finally,the paper summarizes different translation methods of English film titles and applies the theory to the translation practice by understanding the characteristics of English film titles and combining the translation strategy.In summary,translators need to conduct in-depth analysis of source text andinfluencing factors of translation in target text and choose the best translation methods to achieve the expected function and translation purpose of English film titles.更多还原
