基于主动式线偏振光照射的偏振成像实验研究

【摘要】 成像探测作为一种获取目标图像信息的有效手段,在一些特殊环境下所获取到的原始强度图像无法满足军事勘察、遥感探测、交通监管等方面的需求,然而偏振成像技术作为目前目标识别的重要手段之一,在一定程度上解决了这一问题。因此,探究偏振成像的原理、影响因素及偏振特性的增强方案,对突破偏振探测技术目前的瓶颈与实现更加高效的目标识别具有重要意义。常见的偏振测量系统都属于被动式成像系统,其入射光源都属于非偏振光源,本文考虑采取主动式线偏振光源照射目标的方式进行偏振成像实验研究。主要研究内容如下:(1)通过利用旋转偏振片获取Stokes偏振参量的方法搭建了一套主动式线偏振光照射的偏振成像系统,验证了系统的准确性。(2)为了提高系统的偏振成像质量,对本文所搭建的主动式线偏振照射的偏振成像系统,分别从入射光源类型、入射光强、入射角度、光谱宽度、以及原始强度图像的预处理几个方面对系统的影响进行了实验研究与分析。(3)提出了一种主动式正交线偏振光照射的偏振成像及其图像融合方法,采用正交线偏振光对被测物体进行两次偏振成像,对两次偏振度图像进行融合,获得增强的偏振度图像,对两次原始强度图像进行融合,获得增强的强度图像;进而将增强的偏振度图像与增强后的强度图像进行融合。通过两次融合,不仅能够获得完整的目标区域,而且可以提升轮廓和纹理等细节特征。实验研究表明,该方法在主客观评价指标上相对于原偏振图像和强度图像都有显著的提高。

【Abstract】 As an effective means to obtain image target information,the original intensity image obtained in some special environments can not meet military investigation,remote sensing detection and traffic supervision and other needs.However,polarization imaging technology can solve this problem,which is one of the important means of target recognition at present.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the principle of polarization imaging,the influencing factors and the enhancement scheme of polarization characteristics for breaking through the bottleneck of polarization detection technology and achieving more efficient target recognition.The common polarization measurement system belongs to passive imaging system,and its incident light is non polarized light source.In this paper,the way of active linearly polarization light source illuminating the target is considered for polarization imaging experiment.The main research contents are as follows:(1)A polarization imaging measurement system based on active linearly polarized light is built by using the method of rotating polarizer to obtain Stokes polarization parameters,and the accuracy of the system is verified.(2)In order to obtain higher quality polarization characteristic image,aiming at the polarization imaging measurement system based on active linearly polarization illumination,the influence factors of this system are explored from the types of incident light source,incident light intensity,incident angle,spectral width,and preprocessing of original intensity image,and the conclusion is verified by experiment.(3)In this dissertation,a polarization imaging and image fusion method of active orthogonal linearly polarized light is proposed,which uses orthogonal linearly polarized light to perform two polarization imaging on the measured object,and then fuses the two polarization images to obtain the enhanced polarization image,and then fuses the two original intensity images to obtain the enhanced intensity image,and then fuses the enhanced polarization image with the enhanced intensity image.Through two fusions,not only the whole target area can be obtained,but also the detailed features such as contour and texture can be improved.The experimental results show that the method has a significant improvement in subjective and objective evaluation index compared with the original polarization image and intensity image.
