【摘要】 随着中国制造业的崛起,该领域的中外交流也日渐频繁。在这个过程中,科技英语翻译发挥着重要的作用。而机械类英语作为科技英语的重要分支,是科技英语的重要组成部分。本文就以《工业机械手IRB2600产品说明书》为例,以目的论为指导,探讨机械类英语的翻译策略。机械类英语除了有科技英语的一般特点外还有自身的鲜明特点,主要体现在词汇,句子和图表中。译者基于本篇实践报告和本次翻译活动,总结了几点机械英语文本的翻译经验:首先是准确把握机械专业术语和常见缩略语的翻译;其次,按照常用的翻译技巧对机械英语文本的句子进行翻译,同时要兼顾机械英语严谨客观的表达特点;最后,在对图表进行翻译时,要最大限度地保留原文表达形式,传达准确的图表信息。译者希望本篇翻译实践报告可以为相关领域的后续研究提供参考。本篇实践报告共分为五个部分。第一部分为引言,主要介绍实践背景和意义;第二部分为翻译任务介绍,指出本次实践材料的来源,内容和源文本特点;第三部分是翻译过程描述,分为译前,译中,译后三个阶段;第四部分为翻译实例分析,也是本报告的核心部分,主要从词汇,句子,图表三方面进行分析;最后是总结部分,指出译者的不足之处和对未来翻译实践的建议。更多还原

【Abstract】 With the rise of its manufacturing industry,Sino-foreign exchanges in this field are frequent.In this process,the EST(English of Science and Translation)translation plays an important role.As a crucial branch of EST,mechanical English is an important part of it.Taking the Industrial Manipulator IRB2600 Product Specification as an example,guiding by the Skopos theory,this report discusses the translation strategies of mechanical English.In addition to the general features of EST,mechanical English text has its own distinct features,which are mainly embodied in vocabularies,sentences and charts.Based on this report and this translation activity,the translator summarizes several translation experience of mechanical English texts: firstly,to accurately master the translation of mechanical terminology and abbreviations;secondly,to translate sentences according to the common translation skills,at the same time,the characteristics of mechanical English should be taken into consideration;finally,the translation of charts should retain the original expression to the maximum extent and give accurately textual information to readers.The translator hopes that this report can provide a reference for the further research in related fields.The report is divided into five chapters.The first one is the introduction,which introduces the background and significance of this translation practice;the second chapter is the introduction of the translation task,discussing the source of the practical materials,the content and the characteristics of the source text;the third chapter is the description of the translation process.It includes three stages: pre-translation,translation and post-translation;the fourth chapter is devoted to case analysis,which is the core part of this report.It analyzes translation strategies from three aspects of vocabulary,sentence and table translation.The last chapter is the conclusion of this report,dwelling on the problems and deficiencies in translation practice and making suggestions to the translators.更多还原
