混合流及其与固体耦合的触觉渲染技术研究

【摘要】 触觉渲染一直是计算机图形学领域中的研究热点,其中包含固体的触觉渲染、流体的触觉渲染等。目前关于混合流与固体耦合触觉渲染的研究工作还不多见。该研究在VR游戏、虚拟仿真等领域均有较高的应用价值。由于混合流模拟过程中存在流体之间的混合,传统的单相流与固体耦合的触觉渲染方法不能直接运用到混合流与固体的触觉交互中。目前,存在一些模拟混合流与固体耦合的触觉渲染方法,但是这些方法仍存在准确度不高、稳定性不强等问题。本文提出了一种新的触觉渲染方法,该渲染方法在稳定性和真实性上都有一定的提高。为了解决混合流与固体耦合的触觉渲染过程中不稳定的现象,本文使用了一种新的粘滞力计算方法,从而解决了传统方法中由于附近粒子稀少而导致触觉力不稳定的问题。其次,实际生活中影响触觉力的因素有很多,而且传统方法仅仅考虑到压力和粘滞力的计算。本文在触觉力计算时考虑浮力和摩擦力的影响,有效地提高了触觉渲染的真实性。影响触觉渲染另一个因素是效率。传统方法可以较好地实现单相流的触觉交互模拟,然而不同程度的存在效率较低的问题。而当前模拟混合流与固体耦合的触觉渲染方法效率低的问题更为突出。为此,本文提出了一种高效的混合流与固体的触觉交互模拟方法。其中,使用FEM(Finite Element Method)方法对固体建模,使用SPH(Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics)方法对混合流建模。通过FEM-SPH模型计算触觉力及GPU并行加速,在一定程度上提高了混合流与固体耦合触觉渲染的效率,提升了用户体验。

【Abstract】 Haptic interaction,including haptic rendering of solid,haptic rendering between solid and fluid,has always been a hot topic in the computer graphics over decades.However,existing study lack methods for the haptic interaction between the mixing fluid and solids.Haptic interaction between mixing fluid and solid has high value in VR games,virtual simulation and other fields.At present,there are a few methods to simulate the haptic interaction between mixing fluid and solid,but those methods still have some problems,such as low accuracy and low stability.Especially in the process of fluid mixing,those problems are more prominent.Our paper presents a new haptic rendering method between mixing fluid and solid.Our method has a certain increase in the stability and authenticity.In order to solve the unstable phenomena,our paper uses a new method to calculate the haptic force so as to solve the unstable.Besides,there are many factors affecting the haptic force.However,the traditional method only consider the pressure and viscous force.In order to improve the authenticity,our paper adds buoyancy and friction calculation to haptic rendering.Efficiency is another factor which affects haptic rendering.The traditional methods simulate the haptic rendering of single-phase fluid,which lead to the problem of inefficiency.However,when these methods are extended to the mixing fluid,the inefficiency is more obvious.In order to solve those problems,our paper presents a new model to calculate haptic force between mixing fluid and solid.The solid is modeled by the FEM method and the mixing fluid is modeled by the SPH method.The SPH-FEM model is used to calculate the haptic force.Our method reduces the computation and improves the users’ experience.
