【摘要】 笔者受北京律通创译信息科技有限公司委托,将美国某合资企业涉密私募备忘录的九个部分由英文译为简体中文。本报告是该笔译项目的总结。项目细节和翻译要求详见报告第一章。报告第二章概述笔者为保证译文质量而采取的译前质量保证措施,包括为了解法律翻译的指导准则和良好做法而查阅文献,为确保术语翻译的准确性和一致性而编制中英对照术语表,为更好地把握原文内容、文体和风格而搜集和查阅平行文本。第三章讨论了笔者在翻译项目中遇到的典型问题及解决方法。除了文本问题及其解决方法,本章还涉及交付时间紧,工作压力大的问题,这也是翻译从业者普遍面临的问题。第四章介绍了笔译项目的译后质量控制措施,包括笔者的译文自检,以及公司内部翻译人员对译稿进行的双语审校。第五章是笔者对参与该笔译项目全过程所获得的经验教训进行的反思总结。更多还原

【Abstract】 This report is a project summary for the translation of nine sections of a confidential offering memorandum of an American limited partnership into Simplified Chinese.The translation project was commissioned by Lawtone Trans Co.,Ltd.,a translation service provider specialized in translating legal texts.More details regarding the project and the translation specifications are provided in the first chapter of the report.The second chapter of this report summarizes the pre-translation quality assurance measures taken by the author to guarantee the quality of the target text.The measures include browsing publications for guidelines and good practices in legal translation,compiling a bilingual glossary to ensure the accuracy and consistency of translated terms,and collecting and consulting parallel texts for better understanding of the content,genre and style of the source text.Chapter Three discusses the typical problems the author met in the process of translation and how she solved them.In addition to textual problems and their solutions,this chapter also talks about the problem of working under a tight deadline,which is a prevailing one for practicing translators.Chapter Four provides details regarding post-translation quality control measures such as the self-checking carried out by the author as the translator and the revising of the draft translation implemented by an in-house translator from the company.Chapter Five is intended as a critical summary of the lessons learned by the author as the translator from all the phases of the translation project.更多还原
