论《英语集全》在高中历史教学中的史料价值

【摘要】 唐廷枢所编撰的六卷本《英语集全》最早是1862年由广州经纬堂出版,该辞书被认为是国内最早的英汉双语类书籍之一。该辞书中的词汇主要涉及政治、经济和文化,详细的对于晚清时期的一些日常物品以及当时的中外贸易中的一些商品等做出了翻译和记载。就晚清时期的国际贸易方面来说,该辞书起到了信息传递和言语沟通的作用。由于其涉及内容广泛,在研究晚清时期的国际贸易和晚清社会状况方面,《英语集全》亦是一部具有很高史料价值的文献。这本百科式的辞书其价值主要体现在文献学方面,因为该辞书本身就具有很高的研究的价值;另外是在史料学方面,该辞书所记载词汇能够反映当时社会面貌,对研究晚清社会具有很大的帮助;最后将其作为教学辅助资料来说,该辞书能够对教材中所反映的不全面的一些信息和知识点进行有效的补充。全文共分为五个部分进行讨论:第一部分,该部分是为绪论,该部分叙述了本文的研究目的以及到目前为止有关于《英语集全》及其作者的研究。之后论述了本文所做研究的目的,并详细介绍了本文所做研究而采用的主要研究内容、研究方法等。第二部分,该部分详细叙述唐廷枢的生平,以及编撰该辞书的原因、条件、以及整本书的构成部分,最后介绍了该辞书的作用和人们对它的评价。第三部分对《英语集全》这六卷本辞书中的词汇所反映的社会背景从政治、经济、文化三个大的方面加以分析。政治背景主要从帝治方面分析;经济背景主要从手工业和商业两个小的方面加以分析得出结论;文化背景主要是从服饰、饮食、建筑三个切入点对其做出讨论。第四部分讨论了《英语集全》在作为史料时所具有的独特价值,然后以岳麓版历史教材为例讨论了《英语集全》与高中学历史教材内容的契合。第五部分从《英语集全》作为史料方面讨论,在教学过程中的使用该辞书时应该要注意的一些问题以及怎样才能更好的利用好该辞书。最后模拟了两个课堂教学案例对《英语集全》作为史料在实际的教学过程中的使用做了说明。更多还原

【Abstract】 Tang Tingshu compiled the six volumes of the English words collected complete which was first published in 1862 by the Guangzhou Jingwei Hall,and the dictionaries were considered to be one of the earliest dictionaries of the English Chinese bilingual dictionaries in Qing Dynasty.The words in the books are mainly involved in the politics,economics and culture in the late Qing Dynasty,in the special dictionaries,people translated and recorded some daily items and some goods in international trade.As for the international trade in the late Qing Dynasty,the dictionaries have played a significant role in the transmission of information and communication.Because of its extensive contents,English words collected complete is also a document with high historical value in the study of international trade and society in the late Qing Dynasty.The encyclopedic book of the value is mainly manifested in the field of literature,because the dictionaries have a very high research value for itself.In the aspect of historical materials,the dictionaries are of great help to the study the late Qing Dynasty because the words were written in the books can reflect the society at that time.Finally,as the auxiliary teaching materials,the dictionaries can supplement the information and knowledge where missed in the class books.This thesis is divided into five parts to discuss:The first part is the introduction which introduces the study about Tang Tingshu and the English words collected complete,and reasons why to select this subject,the researching aims,and content meanings.The second part describes the life of Tang Tingshu as well as the reason why he compiled the English words collected complete,and the whole part of the dictionary.Finally,this part introduces the function and the evaluation of this dictionary.The third part analyzes the social background of politics,economics and culture from the words in all the six volumes of the Enlish words collected complete.The political background is mainly analyzed from the aspects of imperial government.The economic background is analyzed from two aspects:handicraft industry and Commerce.The cultural background is mainly made from the discussion on three points,including clothing industry,food industry,building industry at that time.In the fourth part,the author discusses the unique value of English words collected complete which was used as the historical data to discuss its value that is generally not available in other materials.Then,the paper discusses the connection between the whole English words collected complete and the content of history textbooks in Yuelu.The fifth part discusses the historical aspects of the English words collected complete.The teachers should pay special attention to some problems and how to make full use of it in the teaching procedures when they use the English words collected complete.At last,the author simulates two teaching cases to illustrate how to use the dictionaries when they are treated as the historical data in the actual teaching procedures.更多还原
