【摘要】 视觉计算是人工智能产业的一部分,随着该产业的兴起,该领域翻译的重要性日益凸显。本文基于专著《医学领域的视觉计算》中“说明”部分的翻译实践,描述翻译过程,论证翻译方法,具有一定的应用价值。根据科技文本严谨、客观、正式的文体特点和文本翻译的目的,作者采用功能学派的目的论为翻译指南,力求译文忠实、连贯、规范。本文首先陈述选题背景、简述研究现状和研究意义。接着,比较详细地描述翻译过程,包括译前准备、理解与表达和译后审校。然后是案例分析,聚焦于各词类、长复句和段落的理解与翻译。通过实例分析,笔者论述了词语、句子及篇章的表达方式,分别论证了词义引申、增补、删减、顺译、逆译、分译、合译、句子间的跨句重组和节译等翻译技巧的可行性。作者证明:只有兼顾创造性和局限性,从目的论的视角充分发挥译者主体性,才能保证科技文献的翻译质量。最后作者总结了自己的收获与启示,指出了本研究之不足和改进办法。本文旨在为从事科技文献、特别是医学文献翻译的新手提供启示,对科技文献翻译者亦具有参考价值。更多还原

【Abstract】 Visual computing is part of the artificial intelligence industry.As the industry has been on the rise,translation of literature on science and technology in this field is becoming increasingly important.This report,based on the translation of Introduction to Visual Computing for Medicine,mainly describes the translation process and verifies a number of translation techniques.Clearly,the report is of practical value.In view of preciseness and objectiveness of scientific texts and of the purpose of the translation,the writer adopted Skopostheory as guide to the translation and made much effort to render the version faithful,coherent and standard.First,this report briefly states the background of the selected topic,reviews relevant literature and mentions the significance of this study.Next,the thesis describes the translation process at length,including the initial stage at which the author made full preparations,the central stage at which the author did her utmost to comprehend and reproduce the original,and the third stage at which the author revised and improved the version.Then,the thesis makes detailed analysis of the version,focusing upon how words or terms,involved sentences and paragraphs are understood and translated.It fully proves the feasibility of the application of various techniques such as sematic extension,amplification or addition of proper words and expressions,abridgement,omission,retainment of the original order,inversion of the original sequence,division,combination,sentence reorganization and so on.The author testifies that only by attaching importance to creative translation and paying attention to limitations,and only by giving full play to the translator’s subjectivity from the perspective of Skopostheory,can we ensure the good quality of translations of literature on science and technology(LST).Finally,the author summarizes her main findings and inspirations,mentions the limitations and refers to improvements.This report is intended to provide enlightenment for inexperienced translators of LST,especially for those of literature on medical science;It also possesses reference value for all translators of LST.更多还原
