【摘要】 中英两国将共同开启全面战略伙伴关系的“黄金时期”,中英两国文化交流将备受关注。民俗文化鲜明的文化个性和浓郁的民族特色使其在文化交流中的地位举足轻重,民俗文化的翻译也备受关注。民俗文化的翻译质量将直接影响民俗文化的传播。《傲慢与偏见》是英国著名女性小说家简·奥斯汀的作品,她的作品主要关注乡绅家庭女性的婚姻和生活,其中不乏对英国民俗文化的描述。国内外学者更多的是从《傲慢与偏见》中女性主义角度研究这本小说,如分析人物的性格特点和婚姻观的关系。近年来也有从语法角度和语言学角度的研究,如隐喻、反讽和合作原则等视角。而小说中的民俗文化的翻译鲜少有人关注。苏珊·巴斯奈特是当代文化翻译的领军人物,她的文化翻译理论也是影响颇深。文化翻译理论强调翻译的基本单位是文化,保持原语的文化核心是文化翻译的首要任务,所以文化翻译理论对文化翻译实践有很强的指导意义。民俗文化是一种文化现象,民俗文化的翻译研究应置身于文化研究的大语境之下。本文尝试运用苏珊·巴斯奈特的文化翻译理论对《傲慢与偏见》三个汉译本中的民俗文化的翻译进行对比分析。本文主要对《傲慢与偏见》中的物质民俗文化、社会民俗文化、宗教民俗文化和文娱民俗文化的翻译进行对比分析。通过分析发现民俗文化的翻译多采用直译、直译+注释等异化策略,在文化输出中达到和保留原作的风格特征、文化意象以及文学功能的目的,而采用归化策略相对较少。本文通过对比分析《傲慢与偏见》三个汉译本中的民俗文化翻译策略,进一步加深读者对英国民俗文化的了解,认识到中英民俗文化的差异,从而提高我们对民俗文化翻译策略的应用及跨文化交际能力。更多还原

【Abstract】 China and Britain will jointly open a "golden period" of comprehensive strategic partnership,and the cultural exchanges between China and Britain arouse great concerns.Because of the distinctive cultural individuality and unique ethnic characteristics,folklore culture plays an important role in cultural exchanges,so translation of folklore culture comes to be concerned widely.The quality of folklore culture translation will directly influence the spread of folklore culture.Pride and Prejudice written by the famous British female novelist Jane Austin mainly focuses on the marriage and family life of women,and there is a lot of description of British folklore culture.Scholars at home and abroad have done researches on Pride and Prejudice from the female perspective,such as the analysis of the relationship between personality traits and marriage values.In recent years,there are some researches on the novel from the perspective of grammar and linguistic perspectives,such as metaphor,irony and cooperative principles.But the translation strategies of folklore culture are seldom concerned.Susan Bassnett is a leader figure of modern culture translation,and her culture translation theory has a profound influence on translation studies.Culture translation theory emphasizes that the basic unit of culture translation is culture.Retaining the core of culture in the target language is the main task of culture translation.Culture translation theory has guiding significance for culture translation practices.Folklore culture is a kind of cultural phenomenon,so folklore culture translation studies should be conducted in context of cultural studies.The thesis attempts to give a contrastive analysis of folklore culture translation in the three Chinese versions of Pride and Prejudice under the guidance of culture translation theory.The contrastive analyses are mainly centered on the translation of material folklore culture,social folklore culture,religious folklore culture and entertaining folklore culture in three Chinese versions of Pride and Prejudice.After contrastive analysis,the thesis finds that the translations of folklore culture mainly adopt foreignization strategy,such as literal translation and literal translation plus annotation,etc.By adopting the foreignization strategy,the translators aim at preserving the original taste of folklore culture,the cultural image and literary function in the process of culture export.Domestication strategy is seldom adopted.Through comparative analysis of folklore cultural translation strategies in three Chinese versions of Pride and Prejudice,the thesis can further deepen the readers’ understanding of the British folklore culture,and make readers recognize the differences in British and Chinese folklore culture,so as to improve the application of folklore cultural translation strategies and cross-cultural communicative competence.更多还原
