玉米种子理化性状与种子活力的关系

【摘要】 选取2015年于市场上购买的62种不同类型的玉米品种种子用来进行试验。田间出苗率是种子活力的一种体现,主要表现在种子在田间的成苗率上。现在种业也普遍应用抗冷发芽率来作为标准,对种子活力大小进行分析。因此,本试验以田间出苗率和抗冷发芽率为标准,与玉米种子物理性状和化学成分进行相关分析,明确种子理化性状与种子活力的关系,为玉米育种、种子加工的清选等生产实践提供参考依据。主要结论如下:1.标准发芽试验是用来测定种子批的最大发芽潜力,我国要求的生产用种的标准发芽率在85%,本试验中有60种玉米品种种子达到合格标准,达到标准的玉米品种种子在97%以上,说明本试验中所选供试玉米材料具有良好的代表性。2.玉米种子的千粒重,比重,容重与田间出苗率和抗冷发芽率的相关关系不显著,说明不能依靠千粒重,比重,容重来直接进行种子活力大小的判断。扫描特性中宽度和投影面积与田间出苗率和抗冷发芽率在0.05水平上存在显著负相关关系,与宽度的相关系数值为-0.425,与投影面积的相关系数值为-0.512,说明在一定范围内,随着宽度和投影面积的减小,种子活力会有所升高。玉米种子的淀粉含量和脂肪含量与田间出苗率和抗冷发芽率相关关系不显著,不能通过淀粉含量和脂肪含量来直接进行判断种子活力的大小。玉米种子的蛋白质含量与田间出苗率和抗冷发芽率存在显著正相关关系,相关系数值为0.533,表明在一定条件下随蛋白质含量增加,种子活力会逐渐升高。物理性状中随着扫描特性的宽度和投影面积减小,化学成分中随着蛋白质含量增加,种子活力会随之升高,可以作为高活力种子选择的依据。

【Abstract】 Seeds of 62 different types of maize purchased in the market in 2015 were selected for testing.The rate of field emergence is a manifestation of seed vigor,mainly in the rate of seedling formation in the field.Seed germination rate is now widely used as a standard for seed vigor analysis.Therefore,this study takes the rate of field germination and cold germination rate as the standard,and analyzes the physical and chemical components of corn seed,which can provide reference for the production practice of maize breeding and seed processing.The main conclusions are as follows:1.standard germination test is used to determine the maximum germination potential of seed batch,our requirements for production of the standard germination rate in 85%,reached the standard of corn seed in 97%above,this study showed that the selected maize materials have good representation.2.the relationship between the 1000 grain weight,specific gravity and bulk density of corn seeds was not significant with field germination rate and cold resistant germination rate,indicating that the seed vigor size could not be directly determined by the thousand grain weight,specific gravity and bulk density.The width and projection area of the scanning characters were negatively correlated with field emergence rate and cold resistant germination rate at the 0.05 level,and the seed vigor increased gradually when the width and projection area decreased.The starch content and fat content of corn seeds were not significantly correlated with field germination rate and cold resistant germination rate,and could not be directly determined by starch content and fat content.The protein content of corn seeds was significantly correlated with field emergence rate and cold resistant germination rate,and the seed vigor increased gradually when the protein content increased.Physical properties with width scanning characteristics and projection area is reduced,the chemical composition with increasing protein content and moisture content,seed vigor will increase,can be used as reference for improving seed vigor.
