基于3D打印技术的儿童创新教育课程设计

【摘要】 创新推动科技的发展,科技带来社会的变革。创新人才的培养,靠的是教育。我国现行教育制度以应试为导向,学生的创新能力不足。放眼全球,一些先进的教育理念正风靡英美等发达国家,代表性的有美国的STEAM教育,以及由创客运动衍生而来的创客教育等。这些教育都强调学生应用科技的能力和动手实践的能力,这在科技发达、新技术不断涌现的今天,具有重要的意义。而今,3D打印技术的出现和蓬勃发展,推动着全球创客运动的发展,也正好为我们探索新的教育方式带来了契机。3D打印技术不仅可以帮助学生更加深刻的掌握学科知识,更重要的是,它突破了普通人进行设计创造活动的技术屏障,为学生实现自己的创意想法提供了有力的工具。而3D打印走进校园变成课堂,第一步就是要有相应的课程支持,这不仅是学校的当务之急,也是3D打印行业发展的重要机遇。因此,本研究利用3D打印技术,针对儿童创新教育,进行了一套3D打印创新课程的设计。基于对国外先进教育理念和教育界研究进展的分析,同时结合儿童的认知和学习的特点和规律,我们构建了一套儿童创新教育的课程体系框架,并将其命名为“STED”。基于STED教育理念构建了课程矩阵,将课题分为形式类、结构类和智能类三大类别,每一类别下又按照不同的难度等级设计了若干课题。课题的设计遵循“问题导向、学科融合、兴趣引导、团队合作”的准则,在授课内容上综合考虑了丰富学生的相关学科知识和培养各方面能力的因素。此外,出于传播和未来商业运作的需要,本研究对于与线下课程相对应的线上平台的策划和组织架构提出了思路。依据“主题式、游戏化、互动式”的设计导向,初步完成了平台的相关页面设计。课程在杭州市市民中心和青少年宫进行了授课实践,取得了良好的效果。最后根据学生、家长和老师的反馈,对本次设计进行了评估和总结。

【Abstract】 Social transformation roots in technology,while technological development is driven by innovation.The cultivation of innovative talents relies on education.In China,the educational system is examination oriented,which causes the problem of the students lacking of creativity.From a global perspective,some advanced educational concepts are prevailing in developed countries such as the USA and Britain,including"STEAM" and "Maker Education" which arises from the "Make Movement".In both concepts hands-on practice and the abilities of utilizing technologies are advocated,which is of vital significance in today’s world with new technologies constantly emerging.Now,the emergence and flourish of 3D printing technology motivates the development of the Maker Movement,and gives us an inspiration of new educational approaches.3D printing helps students understand and master knowledge more in depth,and most importantly,provides a powerful tool to make students’ creative ideas come true by breaking the technical barriers that ordinary people faced with when doing design and creative activities.However,the prerequisite for 3D printing to enter the campus and become a course is the support of a corresponding curriculum,which is not only the need of the schools,but also a vital opportunity for the 3D printing industry.Therefore,this research carries out the design of a new curriculum in children’s innovative education with 3D printing technology applied.Based on the analysis of advanced educational theories and research progress,as well as studies on children’s cognition and learning,a curriculum framework for children’s innovative education is constructed,named as "STED".The STED educational concept gives birth to the course matrix,under which there are 3 categories of courses,namely the Form,the Structure and the Smart.In each category a number of projects(or courses)are designed in various difficulty levels.The design of the projects complies with the principle of ’problem oriented,inter-disciplinary,interest stimulating and teamwork’,taking into consideration of enriching students’ knowledge as well as cultivating students’ abilities in various aspects.Considering the spreading and the future business operation,the idea of the organization and construction of an online platform is proposed,which corresponds with the offline classes.Based on the design thinking "thematic,gamification and interactive",a few pages of the platform are accomplished preliminarily.Some experimental teaching practices were done at the Hangzhou Civic Center and Youth Palace,with satisfactory results achieved.According to the feedback from the students,parents and teachers,we made an assessment of this design,and some conclusions were drawn eventually.
