城市社区居民科普活动的参与度研究

【摘要】 公众科学素养的高低,不仅影响着人们美好生活的夙愿能否实现,而且决定着我国实施创新驱动发展战略的成败,决定着我国综合国力的发展。作为科普工作的中坚力量,社区科普在社区居民的科学素养的提升过程中扮演着重要角色。目前,社区居民在参与科普活动时虽然表现出了强烈的参与意愿,但参与度情况却不甚乐观,因此,对社区居民科普活动的参与度情况进行研究显得尤为重要。本文在文献研究的基础上,以武汉市洪山区社区为调查地点,从参与度的视角切入,先后对居民进行问卷调查和当面访谈获取本研究的数据,然后使用频数分析、交叉表分析,从参与的广度(居民参与活动的渠道、种类、数量及参与的内容)、参与的频度(个人在单位时间内(如一年)参与活动的次数)、参与的深度(参与者在时间维度方面的分布情况)、参与的态度(参与动力的来源)、参与的效度(参与后各方面的收获)等五个维度对居民参与社区科普活动的参与度进行了考察,并着重分析了居民参与深度的影响因素。研究结果如下:(1)人口特征方面,参与社区科普活动的男女比例基本相同;在年龄上,主要以36-55岁的居民为主,所占比例为36.5%;职业上,主要以退休人员为主,所占比例为30%。(2)获取科普信息的渠道方面,主要以社区科普宣传栏为主,所占比例为66.1%,其次是互联网,所占比例为36.5%。(3)参与的科普活动种类方面,具有互动性并且寓教于乐性的“去科技馆、博物馆参观”最受居民欢迎,所占比例为90.1%。(4)参与情况方面,在参与频率上,居民多大多是“一个月一次”和“多年一次”,“空闲时间不足”和“宣传力度不够”是阻碍居民参与的主要因素;在参与投入的时间上,居民大多是“1-2小时”,所占比例为43.5%,投入时间为“3-4”小时的居民所占比例仅为8%,“没有兴趣”和“没有足够的时间”是阻碍居民进行深入探究的直接原因。最后,针对本研究结果,本文从科普设施建设、科普投入渠道、科普宣传手段、科普活动形式、科普人才培养五个方面,为提高社区居民科普活动参与度提出了建议。

【Abstract】 As is known to all, the level of scientific literacy of the public, not only affects people’s ability to achieve long-cherished wish for a better life,but also determines the success of the implementation of innovation-driven development strategy, determines the development of China’s comprehensive national strength. Community Popular Science as the backbone of popularization of science, it takes an important role to improve the level of scientific literacy of the residents.At present, although the participation of community residents in science activities showed a strong willingness, the engagement is poor.Therefore, it is particularly important to study the participation of community science activities.On the basis of literature research, this paper starts from the view of participation,Hongshan District of Wuhan city community as the survey site. Combing questionnaire with face to face interviews to investigate the involvement of community residents from five dimensions: the breadth of participation, the frequency of participation, the depth of participation, the power source of participation, and the validity of participation. In addition, analysis the influence factors of involvement of community.Summarizing the rules and problems in residents involvement, the results of the study are as follows:(1)In demographic structure, the proportion of men and women to participate in community science activities are basically the same, most of them are at the age between36 to 55 and mainly are retirees, the proportion is 30%.(2)The way to get science information is mainly in community science bulletin board,the proportion is 66.1%, followed by the Internet, the proportion of 36.5%.(3)In the kinds of popular science activities, the most popular is that set interaction,entertainment and education in one of the "go to Science and Technology Museum tovisit", the proportion is 90.1%.(4)In the situation of involvement, at the participation frequency, residents mostly choose "once a month" and "over a long period of time", the mainly obstacle is that "free time is few" and "propaganda is not enough"; on the involvement of the time, the residents mostly chose "1-2 hour", the proportion was 43.5%, the proportion of investing time “3-4 hours” residents accounted for only 8 percent, "have no interest" and “have no enough time”is the direct cause of the further exploration of the residents.In the end, according to those results, this paper proposed strategies from the aspects of science facilities, science funding channels, popular science propaganda means,science activities, science talent cultivation to promote the participation of community science activities.
