任务型教学法在小学英语语法教学中运用的行动研究

【摘要】 英语教学中,语法教学是一个十分重要的组成部分,一直备受关注。小学生处于英语学习基础阶段,语法教学是重要的也是必要的,而进行有效地语法教学会为小学生的英语学习奠定坚实的基础。2011年出台的《义务教育英语课程标准》提倡教师运用任务型教学法进行教学,它提出,教师应该创设与实际生活密切相关的各类情景,实施循序渐进的语言交际活动,并且使用各种过程与结果并重的教学途径和方法,如任务型教学法等。但是目前语法教学的现状是怎样的?采用任务型教学法进行语法教学有什么优势和不足?不足的原因是什么?这些问题都值得关注并进行深入探讨。本论文以延吉市某小学五年级学生为调查对象,对任务型教学法在小学英语语法教学中的运用进行了行动研究,调查了解了延吉市某小学英语语法教学的教学效果,以及运用任务型教学法进行语法教学的教学效果,探讨了任务型语法教学过程的不足,提出了改善和推进任务型语法教学的积极性建议,进一步提升了语法教学效果。通过对调查结果和研究结果的分析与讨论,本研究最终形成以下结论:第一,教师运用任务型教学法进行语法教学,更有利于提高学生对英语及语法的认识、学生语法知识的运用水平、学生掌握英语语法学习策略以及激发学生学习语法的兴趣。第二,教师在进行任务型语法教学时,应注重任务设计的趣味性、难易度和相关性,应导入趣味性情境、启发性内容以及布置合理的任务要求,应做好语法知识的准备工作,应给与学生适宜的指导,应对学生的任务成果进行监督与评价。第三,一线教师对任务型教学法理论认知薄弱,运用任务型教学法的能力有限,影响了教师对任务型教学法的实施。基于以上结论,建议如下:第一,小学英语语法教学应尽量采用任务型教学法。第二,教师应主动学习并熟练地掌握任务型教学法。第三,教师应注意对任务型教学过程的设计和安排。第四,教师应自我反思,更新英语教育教学理念。第五,学校应加强对任务型教学法的校本研修。第六,基础教育学校应多和高校合作,协作创新。
【Abstract】 English grammar is a very important part in English teaching, and how to make it effectively has been focused a long time. Primary school students are in the based phase in English learning. And grammar teaching is important and necessary. The effective grammar teaching will lay the solid foundation for students. In 2011, "compulsory education English curriculum standard" was issued, which advocated that teachers should use Task-based Teaching Approach to teach English. It says that the teacher can create the realistic scenes, use the progressive practice, as well as adopt a variety of methods, such as Task-based Teaching Approach to train the students’ abilities. But what is the present situation of grammar teaching? What are the advantages and disadvantages of adopting Task-based Teaching Approach? What are the reasons? All of these are worthy of paying attention and discussing.In this paper, the primary school students of Grade Five are investigated in Yanji city. And the Action Research of Task-based Teaching Approach is used in the English grammar teaching. The paper will investigate the original teaching effects of one primary school, and the effects of using Task-based Teaching Approach. The research is going to discuss the insufficient and put forward some advice to improve the grammar teaching effects.Through the analysis and discussion of investigation results, the paper will come up with the following conclusions:First, Task-based Teaching Approach will improve the students’ cognitions of English and English grammar. On the other hand, it will improve students’ grasp of English grammar. And it will arouse their enthusiasm for learning grammar so that they have their motivations to learn English grammar. Second, the teachers should design and arrange the Task-based Teaching process reasonably, which will improve the grammar teaching effect. First of all, the English teachers should pay attention to the interestingness, pertinence and daily reverence when they design the tasks. Second, the teachers should import the interesting situations, instructive contents and reasonable task requirements. Again, the teachers must prepare well for the grammar knowledge. Fourth, the teachers should provide proper guidance. Last but not the least, the teachers should supervise and evaluate for students’ task results. Third, the English teachers’cognition of Task-based Teaching Approach theory is weak and their applying abilities are limited, which affect the implementation of Task-based Teaching Approach.Based on the above conclusions, suggestions are as follows:Firstly, the primary English teachers should apply Task-based Teaching Approach to grammar teaching. Secondly, the primary English teachers should learn and research thus could grasp a full knowledge of Task-based Teaching Approach. Thirdly, the primary English teachers must pay attention to design and arrangement of task teaching when using Task-based Teaching Approach. Fourthly, the primary school English teachers should learn and updated English education teaching ideas constantly. Fifthly, primary school should strengthen the school-based training of Task-based Teaching Approach. Sixthly, the basic education institutions should cooperate with universities for innovation.
