微软必应亚太地区广告平台人机界面风格指南及应用设计

【摘要】 近年来,随着互联网的不断发展,搜索引擎已经成为广大网民进入互联网的重要渠道之一,并且由最初的家用电脑系统延伸到不同的领域当中,其中包括智能手机、平板电脑,以及越来越普及的各种穿戴式设备,如手表、手环等;在有如此多设备的前提之下,搜索引擎的基本使用场景也从室内办公扩展到了户外以及各种交通工具之中。搜索引擎行业整体呈稳步向上发展趋势,而必应搜索引擎作为微软公司中整体互联网战略的重要一步,也成为了商家与用户直接联系的核心平台,越来越多的商家在必应搜索引擎上进行多方位的关键词广告投放,以期得到更多目标用户的广告点击,最终达到产品盈利的目的。在此基础上,必应搜索广告平台亟待建立一个更加完善和人性化的商家广告投放和管理系统,用来帮助商家及广告商进行广告投放和管理。所以,统一整个平台的人机界面风格,以便让后续的开发人员更加高效的工作也成了重中之重。人机界面风格指南简称HIG,是一份专业软件开发文档,它被用于给应用软件开发者提供开发帮助。人机界面风格指南旨在提高用户体验,并使桌面和移动端应用界面的体验更加直观、更加易于学习,同时在视觉风格上也更加统一。特别是在电脑端的应用环境下,许多人机界面风格指南限定了非常严谨的视觉和交互风格;通常,人机界面风格指南会汇集很多条人为的规范,而这些规范多数来自人机交互研究(简称用户可用性测试),但是也有一些情况下,开发者会通过某些会议想当然的制定很多规范。人机界面风格指南的核心用途一般是在一个系统环境(桌面端、移动端或者其他端口系统)下建立一个统一的用户体验,从最简单的按钮和标识元素开始,一直到复杂的产品构架,包括视觉风格的统一、交互功能的统一以及品牌形象的统一。人机界面风格指南通过推荐和建议来帮助软件开发者创造更好的软件应用,但是如果开发者认为现有的人机界面风格指南并不适用于他们的应用,他们会直接故意放弃使用人机界面风格指南,或者通过用户测试来得到更好的解决方式。但是反过来说,人机界面风格指南也会阻碍开发者随意开发的意愿。本论文就必应搜索引擎的风格指南设计思路以及建立过程进行了详细的描述。在论文的开始部分作者首先介绍了人机界面风格指南的含义,同时说明了风格指南的背景。然后,通过对公司部门内部已经存在的案例以及竞品公司的现有案例进行分析,以期在早先的案例中找到可用的思路,并从中找出相对应的优点和缺陷,为后续设计做准备。最后,作者通过前期调研和竞品分析,搭建出了完整的风格指南框架,并根据框架进行一步步地完善,最终形成延续设计。
【Abstract】 In recent years, with the rapid development of Internet, searching Engine has become one important way and tool to get into the Internet using by Internet users, and this tool has been applied in different fields,such as the full home computer system which include smartphone, i Phone, i Pad and some w earable electronic equipment which include watch and bracelet. Nowadays, people use search engine in internal office and other vehicles. At the same time, one of the most popular search engines---Bing Search, become more and more important to connect adver tisers with users. Lots of advertisers take advantage of Bing Search to get more profits by advertising.Human interface guidelines(HIG) are software development documents which offer application developers a set of recommendations. Their aim is to improv e the experience for the users by making application interfaces more intuitive, learnable, and consistent. Most guides limit themselves to defining a common look and feel for applications in a particular desktop environment. The guides enumerate specific policies. Policies are sometimes based on studies of human-computer interaction(so called usability studies), but most are based on arbitrary conventions chosen by the platform developers.[citation needed]The central aim of a HIG is to create a consistent experience across the environment(generally an operating system or desktop environment), including the applications and other tools being used. This means both applying the same visual design and creating consistent access to and behaviour of common elem ents of the interface- from simple ones such as buttons and icons up to more complex constructions, such as dialog boxes.HIGs are recommendations and advice meant to help developers create better applications. Developers sometimes intentionally choose to break them if they think that the guidelines do not fit their application, or usability testing reveals an advantage in doing so. But in turn, the organization publishing the HIG might withhold endorsement of the application.On this basis, Bing Ads have to build up a platform that must be perfectly and humanity to manage the whole ads system. Therefore, a uniform system style is useful to improve developers’ efficiency, which is priority among priorities.In this paper, the author detailedly describ es the design thought and the build process of Human Interface Guidelines of Bing. At the first, the author introduces the meaning and the background of human interface guidelines. Then, some existing case of competing companies will be investigated and an alyzed to get more information to be prepared to the next design. Finally, the author builds up the whole human interface guidelines by means of a mass of researches and competitive analysis.
