“今日话题(2015.10.21)”模拟英汉交传反思性报告

【摘要】 《今日话题》是中央电视台英语新闻频道的一档对话访谈节目。2015年10月21日这期节目时值习主席访英期间,两位嘉宾和主持人以此为背景就中英两国之间的全面战略合作伙伴关系进行了讨论交流。本文对该期节目进行模拟交替传译,以转录文稿为文本,进行实践反思性研究。通过回顾和评估,分析交传译语的优点和缺点,作者总结出了此次交传模拟过程中的主要问题,并分析了问题产生的原因,最后提出了相应的解决方案,以提高口译技能。在一定程度上,为将来做访谈类的交替传译训练提供参考和经验借鉴。实践报告分为三章:第一章是对模拟交传实践任务的介绍,包括对任务背景,译前准备和实践过程的描述。第二章主要通过引用转录文本中的实例进行口译质量评估。本章中首先对所采用的口译质量评估标准进行了介绍;然后在此基础上对转录文本中出现的问题进行了归类,包括错译、漏译和流畅性问题;最后从听力能力、笔记技巧和知识面三个方面对问题原因进行了分析。第三章以第二章内容为基础,提出了提高口译质量的三个策略,包括强化听力能力和理解能力的训练、提高笔记技巧和扩大知识积累。

【Abstract】 Dialogue is an English TV panel discussion program on CCTV News Channel. The targeted episode in this report was broadcast on October 21, 2015 when President Xi was visiting UK. The host and two guests discussed the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and UK under such background. The author conducted a simulated consecutive interpreting practice on this episode and made a self-reflective evaluation on the basis of the transcript.Through analyzing merits and demerits in the transcript, the author categorizes major problems in the simulation process. After analyzing the causes of problems, corresponding strategies are proposed for the sake of improving interpreting quality. To some extent, the author sincerely hopes this thesis can throw light on the training for panel discussion interpretation.This thesis consists of three parts. The first part is an introduction to the simulated consecutive practice, including description of task background, preparation before interpreting and practice process. The second part evaluates interpreting quality with citing typical examples from the transcript. This part at first introduces quality evaluation criteria used in the process of evaluation; then deficiencies in the transcript are categorized into three aspects: misinterpreting, information loss and deficiencies in fluency; and at last corresponding reasons are analyzed, including problems of listening, poor note-taking skills, and narrow range of knowledge. The third part puts up with three strategies on improving interpreting quality on the basis of the previous chapter, including training of listening and retrieving ability, note-taking training and knowledge accumulation.
