【摘要】 《呼啸山庄》是英国作家艾米丽·勃朗特唯一的一部力作。但该小说以其丰富的主题和巧妙的艺术风格不仅奠定了作者在英国文坛的重要地位,而且被公认为世界上最杰出的小说之一。目前,学者们运用不同的理论对《呼啸山庄》的研究已经涉及很多方面,但对该小说的精神生态解读仍未引起足够的重视。本论文尝试运用精神生态理论对艾米丽的《呼啸山庄》进行分析研究,展现小说中的人物所体现精神生态状况,并为小说中的精神危机寻找出路,指出构建和谐精神生态的重要性。全文一共有五部分组成。前言概述艾米丽的生平,综述《呼啸山庄》的国内外研究现状和精神生态理论的研究,以及对本论文的简述。第一章依据精神生态理论对小说中人物所展现的精神危机进行分析。主要分析了希斯克里夫的异化和疏离、凯瑟琳的精神空虚以及林顿的“无能力”状态。第二章在细致阅读精神生态理论和研读小说的基础上,对上一章提到的人物的精神危机分别寻找相应的出路。最终,希斯克里夫通过道德和理性的回归走出了困扰他的精神危机;凯瑟琳和林顿分别通过理性地发现自我和认识自我走出了精神危机。第三章通过对精神生态理论和本小说的深入探究,本文试图从两方面分析和谐生态的回归:发现自我和第三代人的和谐。最后一章总结了前文的研究结果,分析了论文的不足并对今后的研究提出建议。更多还原

【Abstract】 Wuthering Heights is the English writer Emily Bronte’s only one masterpiece in her life.Its rich themes and peculiar artistic style not only make a great contribution to the author’s position in literary circle but also make it one of the classic English novels in the world. So far, many researchers have studied the novel from different perspectives involving various aspects, but the spiritual ecological awareness has not been adequately studied yet.This paper attempts to study Emily’s Wuthering Heights by applying the theory of spiritual ecology to show spiritual ecological crises embodied in the characters of the novel and ways out of these crises and point out the importance of rebuilding the spiritual ecology.There are five parts included in the paper.Introduction section summarizes Emily’s life and works, literature review on Wuthering Heights and the theory of spiritual ecology and a brief introduction of this thesis.Chapter One analyzes the individual spiritual ecological crises embodied in the novel’s characters based on the theory of spiritual ecology, which mainly focus on alienation and distortion of Heathcliff,spiritual vacuum of Catherine,and incompetence of behavior of Linton.On the basis of the theory of spiritual ecology and intensive textual analysis, Chapter Two discusses the corresponding outlets for those characters’ spiritual ecological crises mentioned in the previous part. Finally, all of them, namely, Heathcliff, Catherine and Linton,make themselves escape from the spiritual crises respectively by means of regression to morality and rationality, recovery of her inner self and rational recognition of inner self.According to the deeper understanding of the theory of spiritual ecology and further textual analysis, this paper puts its importance on illustrating the return of harmonious spiritual ecology from two aspects: the ultimate return of spiritual harmony—recovery of self,the harmonious spiritual ecology embed in the third generation.The last chapter gives a conclusion of summarizing result, and provides somesuggestions for further study as well as points out the limitations of the study in the paper.更多还原
