【摘要】 本文试图首先勾勒出人类休闲活动的全貌,从文化历史学的角度给予休闲一个直观的展示。闲暇整体来说是对日常生存与维持性世界的否定,是对日常生存与维持性生活的逃避与超越,而渴望走向理想与梦想的自由世界。而这种对于理想自由的渴望在人类的现实生活中可以大致分为四个方向,这四个方向是：娱乐方向、安逸方向、创造、探索与发展方向、宗教与关爱方向,各种文化对于闲暇的不同方向有着不同的偏好,而这些偏好形成的实践最终构成了文化自身的特色。随后,就中西方休闲文化的差异展开简要的论述,指出中文中的“休闲”与英文中"Leisure"的内涵不同,"Leisure"更多体现出一种“用闲”的概念。通过对中西方闲暇观念的对比,我们发现中西方闲暇文化差异的核心在于主动挑战性。最后一章作为文章的核心,探讨了中西方休闲文化差异的核心原因：文化理想。就文明伊始的休闲思想与休闲追求做一对比,从而阐释中西方休闲文化根源性的不同。孔子、老子的休闲思想和柏拉图、亚里士多德的休闲思想有着根本的不同,这种不同是展示中西方文化差异的最佳窗口,一种文化崇尚冒险与活力,而另一种文化钟爱安宁与平稳。末尾,对文章做一简要的总结,就闲暇与文明的话题展开简要的议论。更多还原

【Abstract】 This article attempts to first sketch out the outline of the human leisure activities, to give an intuitionistic display of leisure culture from the historical perspective angle. Leisure as a whole is the negation of daily survival life and consistence of the common world, thus the escape and beyond of such daily routine so as to help one desire and approach its dreamy free world. This desire for the ideal freedom in the reality of human life can be roughly divided into four directions:entertainment direction, easy and comfortable direction, creation, exploration and development direction, religion and love direction. While various cultures have different preferences for different direction of leisure, and the practice of these preferences constitute the culture eventually formed its own characteristics. Then a brief and further thought would be put to distinguish the connotation of Chinese "Leisure",which reflects a more "use free "concept, from that of Western "Leisure". By contrast to the Western leisure concept, we find that the core of Chinese and Western leisure cultural differences is on active challenge. The last chapter is the core of the paper, discussing the core reasons of differences between Chinese and Western leisure culture:cultural ideal. Mading a comparison at the beginning of the civilization on the leisure thought and leisure pursuits,we will find that leisure in China and Western countries have the cultural root difference. It has big difference between Confucius, Lao Tzu and Platon, Aristotle’s idea of leisure. This is the best window to display differences between Chinese culture and Western culture, from which we can find that one culture advocates adventure and vitality, while another culture love peace and stability. At the end, a brief summary was made to this article on the topic of leisure and civilization.更多还原
