MagicWatch:手表平台上的智能影子研究与实践

MagicWatch:SmartShadow Research and Practice Based on Watch Platform

【摘要】 追寻更加友好、有效以及方便的人机交互手段,一直是一个非常热门的研究话题。不少研究人员已经在人机交互领域做了很多研究。随着穿戴式计算的迅速兴起,基于穿戴式设备的人机交互研究也越来越受到人们的关注。而智能手表作为穿戴式设备的一种典型的设备形式,其研究价值凸显。对此,本文设计并实现了一种基于智能影子的,以智能手表为平台的人机交互服务系统,称之为MagicWatch。利用MagicWatch,通过方便地感知用户的手势动作及意图,根据上下文情境,使用者在云平台及其他核心技术的支持下,可以完成特定的任务。本文的贡献有:1)提出了支持智能手表的新型人机交互的解决方案,并从交互与通信、开放与授权、协同模型以及系统架构等方面对其进行阐述;2)基于普适服务总线,实现了MaigcWatch上的一些关键服务;3)设计并实现了MagicWatch交互与服务系统,该平台基于智能影子,支持数据和服务的开放,能很好的实现无缝交互,使设备间的协同更自然成为可能;4)在MagicWatch系统之上,设计和实现了iCard、iScenery、iWeibo及iTask四个应用。

【Abstract】 Seeking for more friendly, more efficient, and more effective human-computer interaction ways is an eternal hot topic. Lots of researchers have done a lot in human-computer interaction. With the rapid rise of wearable computing, human-computer interaction research on wearable devices has been drawing more and more attention. In addition, Smart Watch, as a typical device of wearable devices, extremely shows its research values. This paper demonstrates a MagicWatch which is a human-computer interaction and service system. MagicWatch is based on SmartShadow and Smart Watch platform. Using MagicWatch, we can achieve expected tasks according to context-aware and with the underlying core techniques and the support of a cloud platform.Contributions of this paper are as follows:1) Proposed a solution to support novel human-computer interaction based on Smart Watch platform. And we elaborated the solution from four aspects: interaction and communication, open and authorization mechanism, collaboration mechanism, system architecture.2) Implemented some core services based on Pervasive Service Bus.3) Designed and implemented the MagicWatch interaction and service platform. MagicWatch is a SmartShadow-based System, with the ability of opening data and services. MagicWatch makes the collaboration of data and services possible and interaction seamlessly.4) Based on the MagicWatch, we designed and implemented four applications: iCard, iScenery, iWeibo and iTask.
