【摘要】 作为科技文本翻译的一个分支,医学类文本翻译被认为是最困难也是最具挑战性的任务之一,特别是对于非医学专业的译者而言,如果试图翻译这种类型的文本,并且要精准翻译、正确翻译则更是难上加难。这主要是因为医学类文本具有专业知识性强、专业术语多等特点。并且医学类文本翻译对精准度的要求极高,稍有不慎都会造成非常严重的后果。本文主要基于作者对《告别……》系列书籍的翻译实践,该系列书籍是一位美国医学从业者所著。作者选取《告别疾病》一书其中的一个章节——针灸经络的翻译进行研究总结,旨在分析作者在翻译实践过程中所遇到的问题、解决方法以及作者是如何得到的解决方法。本文的第一部分为文本介绍,在这部分中作者首先对该翻译文本做了简单介绍,内容包括翻译文本的背景、梗概、和语言特点；然后作者给出了该翻译文本的结构。第二部分主要阐述了一些指导作者翻译实践的翻译理论和翻译方法。第三部分是文本的翻译分析,在这部分中,作者从三个方面——语言层面、语用层面和文化方面列举了一些典型例子来重点分析了翻译实践过程中遇到的困难、作者的解决方法以及作者如何得出的这些解决方法。最后一部分,作者根据对选文部分的翻译实践对医学类翻译中常见问题及翻译技巧的归纳总结。更多还原

【Abstract】 As one branch of technical article translation, medical translation is regarded as one of the most difficult and the most challenging tasks, particularly for those translators who are not Medical majors. It will be even more difficult if one wants to translate it properly and correctly. This is mainly because medical texts are too professional and contain a lot of medical terms. In addition, accuracy is highly needed for medical text translation; otherwise, it may cause fatal results. This thesis is based on the writer’s translation practice of Say Goodbye to... series written by an American medical practitioner. The writer selects one chapter on the acupuncture meridians in Say Goodbye to Illness for study. This thesis focuses on analyzing the difficulties the writer was faced with in the process of translation, the solutions the writer came up with as well as how she found the solutions. The first part of the thesis is about text analysis, in which the writer firstly gives a brief introduction of the article, covering its background, its main idea and its language analysis; and then the structure of the article. The second part is to illustrate some of the translation theories and strategies which also guided the writer’s own translation. The third part is about the translation analysis of the article, in which the writer cites some typical examples to analyze the difficulties she was confronted from three perspectives---linguistic, pragmatic and cultural level, her solutions and how she actually found the solutions. In the last part, the writer summarizes the most common seen problems and challenges as well as the translation skills and techniques for medical texts based on this translation practice.更多还原
