步行化设计策略在我国大城市中心区建设中的实践意义

【摘要】 城市中心区是一个城市的象征,代表这整个城市的文化气息与商业经济,是一个城市的历史文化延续变迁的载体和灵魂所在,是城市人文精神要素的综合反映,是人们公共生活的综合舞台,是一种重要的文化资源,在一个城市中地位是重中之重。基于城市中心区的象征性作用,每个城市在进行城市中心区建设时都期待将其建设为土地利用强度最高、设施建设最繁华、交通体系最完善、最井然有序的地区。但我国现代城市面临的现实状态是,伴随着人民物质生活水平的提高在汽车逐渐普及到各个家庭的社会现实下,带来城市车辆大幅度的增加,但交通系统与基础建筑设施并未实现同步的建设与完善,在交通规范方面漏洞也逐渐显现,人们对交通准则渐渐忽视,造成城市空间充满着汽车鸣笛声,空气中弥漫着汽车尾气,人身安全更是受到威胁,人们的活动空间逐渐减小。而这种状态在城市中心区尤为突出。城市研究者为解决这种现状问题提出了步行化策略,从而构建城市中心区的步行空间,为居民生活营造更大的活动空间与更好的城市中心环境。为实现城市中心区步行化设计的目标,本文借鉴西方城市步行化发展思想脉络和设计手法。根据我国的实际情况,以当前我国城市中心区的步行系统为研究对象,重点研究了城市中心区的步行化的现状与城市更新过程中城市中心的凸显问题,如中心区人流量大,高峰期交通堵塞情况严重,基础设施缺乏,道路建设不完善,服务意识缺乏等问题。本文针对分析出的问题提出了相关解决策略,尤其针对不同情况设计不同的步行化设计。在设计中,重点突出步行这一重要环节。本文主要从步行空间概念、步行空间的技术、步行空间设计要求、步行空间设计策略四方面着手,提出城市中心区步行化策略,希望通过多方面、多角度对问题的考虑与策略的提出,实现问题研究的体系化与系统化。希望本文的研究能够为城市中心区的步行化设计提供理论上与实践上的参考。

【Abstract】 City center is a symbol of the city. It represents the culture of a city and theeconomic level. And it is a continuation of history and culture of city. The city centeris the comprehensive reflection of city spirit. It is people’s comprehensive dance inpublic life and is a kind of important culture resources. It is highly significant to thewhole city.Based on the symbolic role played by the city center, each city are lookingforward to building the highest intensity of land use during the constructing of citycenter with adequate infrastructures, perfect transportation system and the mostimproved and well-organized regions. But faced with the reality of the modern citystate, along with the people’s material living standards improvement, cars are nolonger luxuries but necessary means of transport for the families. But transportationsystems and infrastructure do not match. Vulnerabilities in traffic specificationgradually appear and people ignore the traffic standards generally. As a result, urbanspace is filled with surging crowd sound of car horns sound, and the air is filled withcar exhaust. And more, personal safety is threatened while people’s activity spacedecreases. This state is particularly prominent in the city center. Pedestrinizationstrategy is proposed to solve this problem in order to build pedestrian space in the citycenter and create more space for people’s living and better city center environment.In this paper, thought train of pedestrinization development and designtechniques in western countries’ cities are referenced in order to achieve the purposeof pedestrinization in China. According to China’s actual situation, taking thepedestrian system in current center of the city in China as the research object, focuson the current situation of pedestrinization in city center and highlighted issues in thecity center during the urban renewal such as the large flow of people in central area,serious traffic congestion during rush hours, lacking of infrastructure, imperfect roadconstruction, lacking service consciousness and other issues.This paper presents related solving strategies to the problems analyzed above,especially different design for different situations. And in the design, the importantlink of pedestrian is highlighted. In this paper, four aspects of pedestrinizationstrategy are proposed, thus the concept of pedestrian space, technology of pedestrianspace, requirements of pedestrian space design, design strategy of pedestrian. The issues would be systematic through many angles of consideration and proposedstrategies.The author hopes this research can provide a reference both in theory andpractice of the pedestrianization strategy in constructing city’s central area in China
