论罗伯特·达恩顿的阅读史研究

【摘要】 罗伯特·达恩顿是西方新文化史运动代表人物之一,也是书籍史和阅读史方面的研究专家。本文将展现罗伯特·达恩顿作为一位历史学家的研究经历及其历年代表作品,通过对他的书籍史及阅读史相关作品的解读,梳理其学术研究的轨迹,展现阅读史在其研究版图中的发展脉络,并从史学史角度加深对书籍史以及新文化史的理解。文章将首先回顾达恩顿的书籍史与阅读史研究理论,分析其研究方法和理论结构,从而提纲挈领,为后文的具体作品分析做好铺垫。其次,根据达恩顿历年作品的不同主题揭示从书籍史到阅读史的发展轨迹,探讨两者之间的关系,追溯阅读史在达恩顿研究中的具体表现。最后,结合达恩顿超越书籍史方面的研究成果,关注阅读史的最新发展,展望电子时代阅读的未来。更多还原

【Abstract】 Robert Darnton is one of the most representative historians for the New Cultural Movement in the West, and also a leading expert in the study of the history of books and the history of reading. This article would demonstrate the life and research experience of him, as well as the analysis of his works and a track of his academic life. The purpose is to reveal the significance of a newly emerged field such as the history of reading and how it has come into the horizon of a historian, with a better understanding of the relevant theories in New Cultural History.This article would firstly look back on Darnton’s theory on the study of the history of books and the history of reading, analyzing the methodology and structure within, as the foundation for the following detailed research on his work. Secondly, to reveal the development track from the history of books to the history of reading according to the different topics in Darnton’s books, and discuss the respective research based on historical facts. And in the end, the discussion would focus on Darnton’s research beyond the history of books and the promising future for the history of reading in the digital era更多还原
