DCS与PHD实时数据库接口技术研究

【摘要】 目前,过程工业广泛使用DCS进行控制,它可以提供非常丰富的过程信息供管理、控制和决策使用。随着科技的进步,DCS产品种类越来越多,功能越来越多丰富,DCS厂商在降低成本提高竞争力的同时,也带来了通用的控制器件和开放的接口标准,使硬件和应用软件有效地分离,在现代化工业控制系统中,实现了不同厂家、不同型号DCS之间的数据互联和共享。随着通讯技术的发展,企业为提高经济效益,需要将控制系统与信息系统的资源整合在一起,于是实时数据库应运而生,它将DCS设备数据和状态、原材料消耗数据、资金流动等信息有机地集成、存储在一起,使各层管理者能够及时获取一致的实时数据,实现先进控制、管控一体化,其前提是DCS与实时数据库的双向通讯。现代的DCS都提供了OPC(OLE for Process Control)用于数据双向通讯,它是基于微软公司的COM/DCOM技术而建立起来的一项自动化领域信息通讯的接口应用技术,目前已成为一种通用的工业标准,但作为数据通讯接口的OPC软件一般由专业硬件设备厂商提供,价格比较贵。为节约项目投资,在实施高级过程控制(APC)项目时,基于DCS硬件条件和实时数据库软件条件,可自行开发DCS与PHD实时数据库的双向通讯。本文主要探讨了ABB ADVANT500OCS AEH站中的API和HONEYWELLPHD实时数据库RDI的双向通讯接口实现方法,首先解析了ABBADVANT500OCSAEH工作站通讯机制及API函数,然后对HONEYWELL PHD数据库进行了介绍并对其RDI接口函数功能进行了阐述,并从本地RDI入手,介绍了接口的方法、接口的定义,接口测试和安装方法以及接口的状态显示,在此基础上分析了远程RDI的实现方法,通过实际运行完成了APC的数据通讯任务。DCS与实时数据库接口的实现,使企业不仅能够充分发挥DCS的硬件功能,还使企业通过实时数据库深度开发和利用DCS资源,实现先进控制、实时优化,提高了企业的经济效益。
【Abstract】 Nowadays, Distributed Control System (DCS) is extensively used in process controlindustry as it could provide tremendous amount of information for management, control anddecision. With the development of the science and technology, more and more DCS productswith multiple functions are available. When DCS manufacturers are trying to lower the cost toenhance their competitiveness, in the meantime, it brings the birth of general controlcomponents and open interface standard, which evolves the effective separation of hardwareand application software. In the modernized industrial control system, it realizes datainterconnection and data sharing among different models from different DCS manufacturers.With the development of telecommunication technology, there is an urgent need of thesource integration between control system and information system in the industrial enterprises,which brings the development of real-time database. It coordinately and efficiently integratesand stores together equipment data and status from DCS, raw material consumption data andcapital flow information, which enables the management at various levels obtain the consistentreal-time data timely. Thus, the two-way communication between DCS and real-time databaseis the foundation for enterprises realizing advanced control and Management&Controlintegration.In this article, it mainly discussed the interface realization for the two waycommunication between API from ABB Advant500OCS AEH console and RDI fromHONEYWELL PHD real time database. Firstly it analyses the communication mechanism ofABB Advant500OCS AEH console and API function. Then it gives a brief introduction ofHONEYWELL PHD database and its RDI function overview. And starting from local RDI, itintroduces the interface realization, definition, test and installation methods as well as theinterface status display. Based on that, it analyzes the methods for remote RDI and completesAPC data communication task by actual operation.The interface realization between DCS and real-time database not only enablesenterprises to make full use of DCS hardware function but also realizes advanced control and real-time optimization through the deep development of real-time database and utilization ofDCS resources, which therefore contributes to the economic benefit improvement.
