【摘要】 随着全球经济一体化,社会对兼有专业技术和英语技能的高级技术人才的需求,引起了高职院校对专业人才的培养的高度重视。然而,在高职院校中,专业英语课程在教材选择、教学重点、教学方法等方面都存在一些问题。本研究即是对高职院校专业英语课程教育进行的研究,侧重对学生英语听说能力的培养。本文以提高高职院校专业英语教学质量为目的,从ESP理论出发,分析专门用途英语的相关理论,根据需求分析,开展在校学生问卷调查,同时对毕业生学生,任课教师和用人单位进行访谈,通过对调查、访谈结果的分析,了解学生的学习需求,发现在专门用途英语课程运行中存在的问题,提出相应建议。随后,尝试进行教学实践研究。以天津工程职业技术学院石油工程专业的两个班级作为研究对象,一个作为实验班,一个作为对照班,分别采用专门用途英语教学法和传统教学法,通过一学期的教学实验,验证在ESP理论指导下,基于学生需求分析的教学模式相比与传统的教学模式,成绩有明显提高,从而探讨如何改进专业英语课程的教学模式,以提高学生的英语听说能力。最后,笔者指出本研究存在的不足之处,并对专门用途英语教学的改进提出建议；为同类院校的专业英语听说能力的培养提供借鉴,希望能够更好的推动并完善专业英语的听说教学。更多还原

【Abstract】 With the global economic integration, the people who have both petroleum engineering professional knowledge and English communication ability are becoming more and more popular. It caused higher vocational college pay great attention on talent cultivation however, there are some problems in election of teaching material, the teaching method, teaching emphasis in higher vocational colleges. The research is to study professional English education course in higher vocational colleges, focusing on the cultivation of students’ English listening and speaking skills.This research from the "Needs Analysis of ESP Theory" talks about the specific English teaching reform based on demand analysis to which I carried out a questionnaire survey which included interviews of students, teachers and teaching experiments in Tianjin Engineering Technical Institute. Through the results of the surveys and interviews, I have come to realize: students’ learning needs, English teaching’s present situation, discovered problems in the teaching. According to the problems, I put forward the corresponding suggestion through one semester of teaching experiments, then I compared the test results; pre-experiment to post-experiment between the experimental class and control class. Based on verifying the scene--the task-based teaching model is more effective in professional English situations that explores how to improve English teaching methods in order to improve the English listening ability of students.Finally, I points out the deficiencies existing in this research, and gives the suggestions for the improvement of English for special purposes; Finally, it proposes improving the cultivating method of training students’ listening and speaking skills of English in the similar vocational colleges which will promote and perfect the specialized teaching of English.更多还原
