【摘要】 随着2008年北京奥运会以及2012年伦敦奥运会的举行,体育新闻英语已成为我们了解外国文化及其体育信息的重要渠道之一。体育新闻英语汉译是应用翻译中的一种主要体裁,体育新闻的主要功能是信息性。因此,目的论的指导具有可操作性。本文在功能派目的论为理论的基础上,以2012年伦敦奥运会体育新闻报道为研究语料,旨在研究目的论在英语体育新闻报道汉译中的应用。根据体育新闻英语的特点,从新闻标题和新闻语篇两方面进行分析,以期用目的论指导翻译实践。研究发现,在体育新闻英语报道汉译的过程中,主要抓住的是读者的需求；译者在这一过程中起着举足轻重的作用,可以按读者需求选取他认为重要的新闻内容；在遵循目的论的目的法则的同时,还需兼顾连贯法则和忠诚法则来达到翻译的目的。因此,我们在进行体育新闻英语报道汉译时,除了使用全译策略之外,也可采用摘译或编译这两种有效的翻译策略,希望给今后的体育新闻翻译工作者以启发。更多还原

【Abstract】 As the Olympic Games of Beijing in2008and London in2012were held, the English sports news has become one of the most important channels for us to get to know some foreign cultures and their sports information. The E-C translation of sports news is a major genre in the practical translation and the main function of the sports news is informative. Therefore, the guidance of the Skopos theory is operative.On the theoretical framework of the Skopos theory, the thesis aims to study the application of the theory in the E-C translation on sports news reports in the scope of2012London Olympic Games reports as the research corpus. According to the characteristics of English sports news, this thesis is intended to analyze the sports news reports of the2012London Olympic Games from the perspective of the headlines and news discourse in order to guide the translation practice with the Skopos theory. The study shows the point is to satisfy the readers’ needs in the course of E-C translation on sports news reports and the translator plays a big role during this course, who can select the most important content to meet the readers’ needs. We should give consideration to the coherence rule and fidelity rule on the basis of the Skopos rule to realize the aim of translation. Thus, when we do the E-C translation on sports news reports, we can use the two effective strategies, the selective translation and the trans-editing, as well as the full translation strategy, in the hope of providing some insights for sports news translators in the future.更多还原
