【摘要】 蒙古族传统皮制品是游牧民族最基本的物质材料，因而对于游牧民族乃至蒙古族来说，离开了皮制品其文化就不完整了。皮质材料是游牧民族最易于获取的原材料，同时其无所不能的材料特质几乎可以满足日常生活各方面的需求，最主要的是方便携带，尤其适宜迁徙不定的游牧生活。因而蒙古族传统皮制品在蒙古族手工艺中有着不容忽视的地位，并具有自己独特的审美特征和文化内涵。作为游牧民族最基础的生活用品，皮制品在马具、服饰、配饰、日用器皿，基至在萨满教服饰、法器等方方面面运用得都非常广泛，是蒙古族传统文化最基本，也是最重要的一个标志。关于蒙古族传统皮制品制作工艺的研究，本身就是对其文化研究中不可缺少的一个重要内容。近年来，在我国考古事业的发展和民族文化与非主流文化日益受到关注的趋势下，皮制品的研究引起了人们的广泛关注。很多学者从不同角度对其进行研究、分析，取得了很大的成果。本文针对以上现状，通过阅读大量资料和文献记载，以及相关的图形图像资料的基础上，首先从蒙古族传统皮制品的历史人文背景着手对蒙古族传统皮制品的渊源进行概述，在此基础上分析和研究了蒙古族传统皮制品与北方游牧民族的联系以及对蒙古族商贸的影响。再在此基础上对皮制品的制作工艺方面做了比较详细的分析。最后以草原文化为背景对蒙古族传统皮制品的审美特征和文化内涵进行了探索研究，阐述皮制品从单一的使用功能转化为形式与功能相结合的过程，从而加强人们对蒙古族文化的了解。为传承蒙古族传统文化做一点实际的工作。更多还原

【Abstract】 The traditional mongolian leather goods are basic material inmongolian nomadic life, thus it is essential to nomadic life and theMongolian culture. While it is easy for Nomads to obtain raw material,the unquestionable features can meet different demands of daily life. Yet,it is portable, especially suitable to unregular nomadic life. So with itsunique aesthical features and cultural connotation, the traditionalmongolian leather goods play a significant role in mongolian handicrafts.Used as a daily necessity for Nomads, the leather goods arewidely utilized in every aspect, such as harness, clothing, decorations,domestic ware, even in Samanistic clothing and Buddhist instruments, soit can be called the main and most important symbol in nomadic life. ToMongolian cultural studies, the Study of the Mongolian traditional leatherproduction technology itself is important and indispensable.For the past few years, as the development of archaeology and thenational culture and the mainstream culture is becoming more and morepopular, the leather research has attracted wide attention. Many scholarshas made tremendous achievements after their various aspects ofresearching and analysis.In view of the above situation, by reading a large number of dataand documentary records, and on the basis of related graphics data, firstthis paper starts from the historical background of the Mongoliantraditional leather to overview of the origin and development of theMongolian traditional leather goods, and continue the analysis and studyon the relations between traditional mongolian leathers and the northernNomads and the influence on Mongolian trade. Then, in second part, thepaticular analysis is put in leather goods production. In the end, withgrassland culture as the background of the traditional mongolian leather,itexplores the aesthetic characteristics and cultural connotation of leathergoods. The single function of the leather is converted into the combination of form and function process,so as to strengthen theunderstanding of people to Mongolian culture.
