研究生导师指导效果及其影响因素研究

【摘要】 近年来,随着研究生教育规模的扩招,研究生培养质量参差不齐,备受世人的关注。为此,《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要(2010-2020年)》提出把提高质量作为高等教育改革发展的核心任务。在我国研究生教育中,导师指导对研究生的培养质量发挥着至关重要的作用,可以说,研究生质量的高低与导师指导密切相关。然而,高校频频出现的师生关系紧张、研究生对培养质量不满意等问题却让我们不得不再次担忧研究生质量是否能得到保障。因此,研究导师指导及其效果问题对改进研究的指导、提高研究生培养质量有着重要的现实意义。本研究立足上述现状,以全国56所研究生院的博士生和硕士生作为调查对象,采用问卷调查法与访谈法,并借助相关统计方法研究了两方面的问题:一是分析现阶段我国研究生教育过程中导师指导现状,二是探讨影响导师指导效果的因素。研究发现,现阶段研究生指导中存在指导频率偏低,导师指导过多关注学习任务、对学生个人关注不够,非学术事务干扰研究生学习,导师所带学生过多、指导覆盖面小,指导过程中缺乏主动性,师生关系错位、缺乏民主,导师指导存在小作坊形式,过早确立师生关系等问题。导师与研究生之间的师生关系、导师对研究生的指导机会与指导水平是影响指导效果最主要的因素。此外,研究生选择导师的方式与导师指导研究生的方式也对指导效果有一定的影响。最后,笔者根据研究结果提出了优化导师指导效果的建议,即改善师生关系、提高指导水平、增加指导机会、优化研究生培养制度。

【Abstract】 In recent years, with the enrollment of graduate education increasing, The uneven graduates’ quality gets a lot of publicity. For this, China’s National Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan (2010-2020) propose the quality of higher education as the core task of the education reform and development. In China, mentors plays a vital role on the quality of postgraduates, it can be said, graduates quality is in close contact with the effect of mentoring.However, frequently exposed on the instructors made us have to once again worried about the quality of graduate students. Therefore, the study of the effect of mentoring has important practical significance on improving the quality of graduates.This study bases on the current situation, as56doctoral students and graduate students of the Graduate School of the survey, uses questionnaires and interviews, and through the appropriate statistical methods to study two issues:The first part presents the results of the investigation of the current situation of mentoring effect and summarizes the main existing problems, that the low frequency of mentoring; instructors pay too much attention to the learning task; non-academic affairs interference; bring too many students, Lack of guidance and initiative; teacher-student relationship dislocation, lack of harmony; premature to establish the relationship between teachers and students. The second part analyzes the main factors of influencing the mentoring effect in detail, that the relationship, the level of mentoring, the opportunities of mentoring, the method that graduates select their mentors are the most important factors.Finally, proposes recommendations to increase the mentoring effect, such as, improve the relationship between postgraduate and their mentors, increase mentoring opportunities, improve the level of mentoring, optimize the postgraduate education system.
