【摘要】 《经济学人》作为一份历史悠久、知名度较高的英文期刊,在财经界以及政要学者中具有广泛的影响力。对《经济学人》的汉译工作不仅对个人英语能力的提高有很大帮助,并且有助于中国人民了解中国海外形象,对开拓国际视野具有重要意义。本报告基于笔者参与《经济学人》网络翻译项目的实践,首先从总结《经济学人》文章在语言、内容和观点倾向性上的突出特点入手,总结出翻译《经济学人》文章过程中的主要翻译瓶颈。其次,结合笔者自身的翻译实践经验,并利用相关翻译理论和前人的研究成果,采用实例对比研究的方式,探究解决翻译过程中所遇瓶颈的最佳方案。最终验证并总结出了在翻译《经济学人》文章时应当遵循的三大原则，即“文化”传真原则”、“读者导向原则”和“信息准确原则”更多还原

【Abstract】 The Economist is a time-honored and world-renowned English journal, which wields extensive and profound influence not only in the international financial and economic circles, but also among global politicians and scholars. Translating essays in The Economist into Chinese is not only conducive to the improvement of individual English ability, but also necessary and significant for Chinese people to visualize the image of Chinese nation abroad and to broaden their international horizon. The report is an analysis based on the author’s translation practice of participating in an online translating project on The Economist. By summarizing the writing style and prominent features in linguistic aspect, content and viewpoint tendency of essays in The Economist, major bottlenecks for translation are revealed with typical examples excerpted from original texts of The Economist. And utilizing relevant translation theories and based on the experience accumulated with time, three basic principles for translation are summarized and verified in the process of exploring the best way to break through those bottlenecks. The analysis is exemplified by comparative studies of corresponding translation samples. The three translation principles are "fidelity in cultural information","reader-orientation" and "veracity and accuracy" respectively.更多还原
