参与的意义—公共参与方式的另类解读

【摘要】 社会议题纪录片作为纪录片的分支,诞生至今已经有近百年的历史,但是直到最近二十年间才被公众更广泛地了解。社会议题纪录片和现实世界之间深远的联系,随着时代的发展愈加凸显,它们已经成为了记录社会民主进程的一部分。社会议题纪录片所承担的社会功能和公共监督的责任,为大众记忆和社会历史的记录拓展了一个新的空间。承担这一责任的纪录片导演们,试图通过自己的艺术力量,指责社会的不公,公开表达政见,并以此来努力改变社会生活的现状。美国纪录片导演迈克尔·摩尔就是其中之一,他以拍摄和制作讽刺时事的社会议题纪录片闻名。他的作品大多以政治批评的角度“介入”到对事件的叙述中,以导演的第一视角,从画外音解说,到事件的调查取证,再到解释真相,贯穿整部纪录片。相较传统的纪录片模式,迈克尔·摩尔以纪录片作为自己的政治参与途径,依靠影片的内容和影响力为公众的政治参与,提供了另外的思想资源,同时也通过公众刘影片的关注凸显出了议题的重要性,间接地影响了公众的政治参与活动。本文试图以迈克尔·摩尔的纪录片作品为例,解析社会议题纪录片是如何点燃公众对社会热点和政治问题的热情,从而引发公众关注,并将这一关注引领到政治层面的中去,从而展现社会议题纪录片在促进公共参与,推动民主政治发展所起到的推波助澜的作用。更多还原

【Abstract】 The social issues documentaries as the documentary branch, since its inception has nearly100years of history, but until the last twenty years it have been known by the public.The Social issue documentaries has figured promi nently in the public sphere as a powerful impact of promoting political engagement, and they have become a part of the process of recording the social democracy change.The social issues documentaries had social monitoring function, and extended a new space to record the mass memory and social history. Directors who shooting the social issues documentaries try to through their artistic power accuse of social injustice, express political opinions, and to change the current social situation gradually. American documentary filmmaker Michael Moore is one of them, and he is good at narrating in political criticism. His works are mostly intervention to the events with the director’s first perspective by investigating and explaini ng the truth. My di ssertation will explore the meani ng of The social issues documentaries to the public engagement, like Michael Moore’s documentary. And the social issues documentaries not only had the potential to be a way of political engagement, but can transfer the political information into a public sphere. This project attempts to analyse that the social issues documentaries are how to inspire political enthusiasm of the public, and to promote the development of democratic politics.更多还原
